Brandon Ames is a creative from Indiana and the founder of Ames Create. He conceptualizes viral campaigns, builds brands around creators, and turns the ideas into real businesses. He has been making things for the internet since he was a kid, and he loves the creating and the business side equally.
He helps creators and brands make things people actually want to watch, then builds the brand and the business around them. That can be the idea and the storyline, the brand deals, the merch or a whole new venture. Creators keep doing what they do best, and he works on the rest so it lasts.
Shrek Beef and the fake fast food series, which did 50 million plus views. Five Guys One Cup, 25 million plus in under a day. The biggest so far: the DoorDash x Nike Tech unboxing, a collab that never existed, which passed 30 million impressions in two weeks and 75 million plus across the campaign. He also conceptualized the 2016 XXL Brainrot Cypher, released by Jelly House with Young Mantis, Liam Pineiro, James For Real and Seth Goblin.
He came up with the concept and strategy for TickPick’s creator campaign with Young Mantis, and our team ran it. Over the first two years it produced 26 videos, all delivered on time, and more than 220 million impressions. TickPick renewed for a second year, and the partnership is now in its third. In 2011, as a kid running branding and graphics for AE7snipin, a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 trickshotting clan. That channel grew past 80,000 subscribers. He has lived and breathed this space ever since.
The startup he founded in college in 2017. Filtari ran background checks on social media and let people clean up their online presence before a job or school looked, a few years ahead of peak cancel culture. He exited in 2020. The company went on to partner with universities on exactly that problem.
In college. Brandon conceptualized the Bent branding before Mantis won Barstool Idol, and the two kept building from there. That partnership became a five-year run from about 800 YouTube subscribers to nearly a million followers. The full case.
After Filtari he did freelance consulting, golfed and played a lot of Xbox. When Mantis and Barstool parted ways in 2021, Brandon did what he had always wanted to do: make funny commercials and turn his creator strategy into a real business. That became Ames Create. What we do.
Slot Check is a creator venture Brandon and our team built with Jay Fructose, the slot machine creator. You photograph a machine’s screen and it tells you PLAY or WALK, based on the numbers Jay has published. Our team built the app, the brand and the launch alongside Jay. Slot Check signed up more than 1,500 players in its first week.
