Is the DoorDash Nike Tech real?
No. There was never a DoorDash x Nike Tech collaboration. It was a parody concept created by Brandon Ames and our team at Ames Create: an unboxing of a set that did not exist. Neither DoorDash nor Nike was involved.
Answered by the team that made it
It was never real. It still did 30 million impressions in two weeks. The short answers, from the people who made it.

The concept, the strategy and the storytelling came from Ames Create. It was performed on camera by Young Mantis, a creator we worked with at the time. How that partnership grew.
More than 25 million impressions in its first days and more than 30 million within two weeks, across every major platform. We then continued the bit as a sponsored piece for a long-time brand partner, which added more than 15 million impressions in under a week.

No. It was never sold. Anything listed as an official DoorDash x Nike Tech set, on eBay or anywhere else, is not official.
Young Mantis, the Indiana comedy creator. The idea behind the fit was ours.
Instead of moving on, we kept the story going and wrote a brand partner into it. Normally the moment a brand shows up, performance drops. When the brand fits the joke, it does not. The internet can tell when something is an ad, so we made sure it never felt like one.
That is the work. Start a conversation.
