Privacy

What this site collects, why, and how to change it. The short version: we keep what you send us, we count visits, and we do not sell any of it or use it for advertising.

Ames Create LLC · Indianapolis, Indiana · Updated October 6, 2026

What you send us

  • The contact and studio forms. Your name, email, company or handle, your message and, if you answer it, how you heard about us. If you came from a creator’s page, we keep which one.
  • How that visit arrived. With each inquiry the site notes the first page you opened, the name of the site that linked you here, any campaign label in the link, your country, and whether you were on a phone or a computer. It also keeps a scrambled code made from your IP address so we can stop spam floods. The IP address itself is not stored with the inquiry.
  • Corrections and claims on creator entries. Your email, what you say should change, a source link if you give one, and who you say you are. We keep the IP address and browser type that came with the note, to catch abuse.
  • The email list. Your email address (and any topics you picked before 9 Oct 2026), with the page you joined from and the same arrival details as an inquiry. We use it to send what you asked for, and every message has a one-click way off the list.
  • The free tools. A message you paste into the Brand Deal Checker is sent to our AI provider once, to write your read, and is not stored by us. If you give the sender’s address, we look up that domain’s public registration and mail records; only the domain name is sent for that. A handle you type into Rate Calculator or Page Audit is used to read the view counts and captions that are already public on that profile, and the Page Audit sends those to our AI provider to write the read. We keep a copy of those public numbers for up to six hours so a second look does not fetch them again. To keep the tools free we count how many times they are run from one connection each day, using a scrambled code made from the IP address, and that count is deleted within a few days. What you paste or type never goes to analytics. While counting is on, your browser keeps the time you last got a result, on your own device, so we can tell a first use from a return; only a range such as “within a week” is counted.
  • The tools for starting out. The few words you type into the Idea Generator about your page are sent to our AI provider once, to write your ideas, and are not stored by us. Numbers you type into the Earnings Calculator or the Engagement Calculator are worked out in your browser and are not sent to us. A handle you type into the Engagement Calculator is used to read the likes, comments and views that are already public on that profile.
  • Email. If you write to us directly, we have that email.

We use these to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. Inquiries and the email list are kept in our CRM, and inquiries also go to our team’s inbox. Corrections and claims go to the channel where our team reviews them. A draft of a form you have started is kept in your own browser until you send it or close the tab.

What the site counts

  • Google Analytics. Pages viewed, buttons used, whether a form was sent, the kind of page, your approximate location, your device and browser, and the site that sent you. It sets cookies named _ga to tell one visit from another. Names, emails and messages are never sent to it, and advertising features are switched off.
  • Vercel Web Analytics. Page counts, with no cookies.
  • Server logs. Our host logs each request, including the IP address it came from, the way every web server does.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, counting waits until you say yes. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no.

If you are in the creator index

The creator index is written from public sources, and each entry names them. If an entry is about you, use “Suggest a correction” or “Claim this page” on the entry, or email us. We fix errors, and we will talk about anything you want changed or taken down.

Who else handles it

These companies process data for us. None of them is given it to advertise to you.

  • Vercel: hosting, file storage, page counts.
  • Google: Analytics, and the email our team uses.
  • Railway: hosts our CRM, where inquiries and the email list are kept.
  • Resend: delivers email from us, and the alert our team gets when an inquiry arrives.
  • Discord: the workspace where our team reviews corrections and claims.
  • Stripe: takes the payment if you pay one of our invoices. We never see card numbers.
  • Anthropic: the AI provider that writes the read in the Brand Deal Checker and the Page Audit, and the ideas in the Idea Generator. It receives the message, the few words about your page or the public post details for that one request, and handles them under its own terms.
  • ScrapeCreators: looks up the public numbers for a handle typed into Rate Calculator or Page Audit or Engagement Calculator.

Creator pages show video thumbnails served by YouTube, and a YouTube or TikTok player loads when you press play on a video. Those companies see that request the way they would on any site.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Inquiries, corrections and emails stay in our records while they are useful to the conversation, and are deleted when you ask. You stay on the email list until you leave it. Google Analytics keeps event data for up to 14 months. Server logs are kept by our host for a short period.

Children

This site is not written for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
