Bobby Fingers

Pseudonymous Irish model maker who builds detailed dioramas of famous men’s worst moments, films the build, then buries the finished piece and hides the location in the video.

Lifestyle · YouTube · Updated Oct 9, 2026

Bobby Fingers is a pseudonymous model maker and prosthetics artist from Ireland who makes long YouTube films about building 1:9 scale dioramas of embarrassing celebrity moments, from Mel Gibson’s 2006 arrest to Michael Jackson’s hair catching fire. When a diorama is finished he buries it and hides clues to its location in the video, so fans can dig it up. In a 2023 interview with Waxy he explained the subject matter in six words: “I like men who have failed us.” His YouTube channel has about 295,000 subscribers and 6.8 million views from 11 uploads, and his newest film, about Johnny Depp’s bed, came out on August 4, 2026.

Questions people ask

Who is Bobby Fingers?

Bobby Fingers is an Irish model maker who films himself building miniature dioramas of famous men at their lowest, then buries them and hides the coordinates in the video. Waxy reported in May 2023 that he has more than 15 years of experience as a model maker and prosthetics artist in film and television, often working with Odyssey Studios in Limerick, and that he works under a pseudonym at his own request. He told Waxy it is “just me in the shed,” that he has “no sentimental attachment to things,” and that “there are not enough treasure hunts in the world.” His films so far cover Mel Gibson, Steven Seagal, Michael Jackson, Jeff Bezos, Fabio, Joe Rogan with The Black Keys, and Johnny Depp.

What happened to Bobby Fingers? Is he still making videos?

Yes, he is still making them, just slowly. His channel shows a long gap: Joe Rogan and The Black Keys Diorama came out on December 29, 2024, and the next film, Who Crapped on Johnny Depp’s Bed?, came out on August 4, 2026, with about 771,000 views by October. He has not explained the gap in anything we could source. Each film credits a long list of crew and craftspeople, and he has released one or two a year since 2022.

Is Bobby Fingers Blindboy or Mr Chrome? Was he in The Rubberbandits?

Nothing on the record says so. Bobby Fingers works under a pseudonym and asked Waxy to keep it that way in 2023, and neither he nor Blindboy Boatclub nor Mr Chrome has said they are the same person in anything we could source, and no major press has reported it. We do not guess at the identity of anonymous creators, so this entry will only change if one of them says so on the record.

Is Bobby Fingers in King Kong Company, or in a band?

He has not named a band publicly. Waxy reported in 2023 that he is also a musician, producer and video director. The King Kong Company link is a credit: the description of his December 2024 Joe Rogan film lists King Kong Company among the musicians on the soundtrack, alongside composer Cillian King and others. A soundtrack credit is not membership, and nothing on the record says he is in the band, so we do not guess.

Did Bobby Fingers fight Dan?

We could not find a sourced account of a fight between Bobby Fingers and anyone called Dan, in his video descriptions or in press, so we will not repeat one. If the question comes from a scene in one of his films, we have not verified it.

What is the Bobby Fingers Johnny Depp video, and what is Toilet Wine?

His August 4, 2026 film, Who Crapped on Johnny Depp’s Bed?, turns the story of Johnny Depp’s bed into a diorama, and its description links to Amber Heard’s Washington Post op-ed. It also links to Toilet Wine, sold as “Bobby Fingers Toilet Wine” with the line “Buy The Wine, Follow The Clues, Find My Diorama.” The credits name Sandy Burns as the “Toilet Wine mastermind,” thank Chester Osborn and others at the d’Arenberg winery in Australia, and the site’s Australian buy button goes to d’Arenberg; other countries were on a notify list when we checked. The description also says the diorama has already been found.

What is Bobby Fingers’ real name?

Not published. He works under a pseudonym, and Waxy reported in 2023 that he asked to stay that way. No real name has been published by him or by major press, and we do not guess.

Is Bobby Fingers Irish? Where is he from?

Yes. Waxy described him as Irish in 2023, and Flatpack Festival, which screened his films in Birmingham in May 2024, called him a “Limerick prosthetics artist.” His video credits thank Limerick names like Film in Limerick, FabLab Limerick and The Hunt Museum. Among his influences he told Waxy he counts “anyone with an Irish accent that’s so thick that I can’t understand them.”

Is this Bobby Finger from Who? Weekly?

No. This entry is about Bobby Fingers, the Irish diorama maker on YouTube. Bobby Finger, with no s, is an American writer and novelist who co-hosts the Who? Weekly podcast, and is a different person.

Where can I watch Bobby Fingers?

On YouTube at @bobbyfingers, where the diorama films start with Drunk Mel Gibson Arrest Diorama (August 14, 2022, about 1.2 million views, his most watched). Patrons on Patreon get early access to the treasure-hunt clues, per Waxy. He also read Chapter 1 of his novel The Power of the Strength of the Heart on the channel in July 2024; the book is sold through Barnes & Noble and as an audiobook on Apple Books.

What is Bobby Fingers’ net worth?

He does not publish a number and neither do we.

What about Bobby Fingers’ family or personal life?

Not something we cover.

Who represents Bobby Fingers?

His YouTube channel lists a business email, and his films credit Rob Sutton as co-producer; no agency or manager is named. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because people keep asking who is behind the dioramas, and the honest answer is mostly what he has chosen to share. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Bobby Fingers. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. A Bobby Fingers film is a craft video, a comedy bit and a treasure hunt at once. The build is real, slow and skilled, the narration is deadpan, and the subject is always a famous man on a bad day. Burying the finished piece gives every film an ending and a reason to watch closely.

Why it travels. The titles do the selling: a reader knows what “Drunk Mel Gibson Arrest Diorama” is before clicking, and the diorama films land between about 770,000 and 1.2 million views each. Blogs like Kottke and Waxy picked him up early, a festival screened him in 2024, and the hidden coordinates give fans something to do and post about after the credits.

Brand fit. Narrow but real. Toilet Wine shows he will build a product with a partner, here a winery, if it fits the joke, and craft suppliers and studios already appear in his credits. The subjects are real public figures at their worst, he does not show his face, and he releases one or two films a year, so a brand gets one big, slow, very specific piece of work, not a steady feed.
