Questions people ask

Who is Jason The Ween? Why is he famous?

Jason The Ween is Jason Nguyen, a Twitch streamer who went from about 100 viewers a stream in 2022 to one of the most subscribed channels on the platform. He started posting TikToks in 2021 as NguyenMoneySniper and went full-time on Twitch in late August 2022, per Streams Charts. During FaZe Clan’s September 2024 subathon he passed 100,000 subscribers and briefly overtook Kai Cenat and Jynxzi, Dexerto reported, and Streams Charts says his October 2025 subathon made him the third most subscribed Twitch streamer of all time. He won Best Breakout Streamer at The Streamer Awards 2024. The stunts help: on his May 9, 2024 birthday stream he wore a police dog training suit and was bitten on the head by an attack dog, per Dexerto, and he posted his injuries on X the next day.

What happened to Jason The Ween? Why did he leave FaZe?

As of October 2026, Jason The Ween is no longer in FaZe Clan: he announced over Christmas Day, December 25, 2025 that he had left, along with Lacy, Silky, Adapt, Stable Ronaldo and others, per Dexerto. He explained it to Complex in April 2026: “It was sad, to be honest,” he said, adding that the group “didn’t agree on specific things” on the corporate side, which he would not go into, “so we made the group decision to all leave.” Complex, citing Bloomberg, reported that FaZe investor HardScope’s CEO Matt Kalish had called the company’s finances “unsustainable” and offered creators a choice between going independent and signing with HardScope. He had joined FaZe on April 30, 2024, in a signing video where Banks played his father, per Dexerto. On April 30, 2026 he became one of six founding members of CORE, short for Create Own Run Everything, with Marlon, Adapt, Lacy, Stable Ronaldo and Silky, per Complex; Tubefilter reported the group films out of a $20 million creator house. We found no announcement that he has left CORE.

Jason The Ween announced on X on February 9, 2026 that he and streamer Sakura Shymko had broken up, calling it mutual and asking fans to respect their privacy, per WIN.gg. On stream he said “no one cheated,” Dot Esports reported. The two went public at Funny Mike’s Streamer Prom in Houston on June 18, 2025, where a clip of them went viral; the next day he posted on X that “Sakura and I are fine” and asked people to stop the harassment, especially toward her, per Dexerto. That prom stream peaked at about 123,800 viewers, his channel record, per Streams Charts. WIN.gg reported a first split in August 2025 and a reunion in October 2025, and the pair were nominated for Best Stream Duo at The Streamer Awards 2025. On Yujin: his first song, released in February 2023, was titled Goodbye Yujin, per Streams Charts. We found no outlet we accept that reported who that is or any relationship behind it, so we do not guess.

Why did Jason The Ween fire Jawhn? What happened to his cameraman?

As of October 2026, we found no report in an outlet we accept, and no statement from Jason The Ween that we could source, about firing a cameraman named Jawhn. The pages that come up for this search are not outlets we cite, so we do not repeat what they say. Why did Jason The Ween get expelled? Is he in Streamer University, and did he leave?

We found no report in an accepted outlet that he left the event early. The only school trouble on the record is fiction: FaZe’s April 2024 video announcing his signing was a comedy sketch in which he is called into the dean’s office at a made-up college and Banks, playing his father, comes to bail him out, per Dexerto.

If either story reaches an outlet we accept, this entry will add it.

If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Jason The Ween. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. Long Just Chatting streams built on bits, calls and stunts, from an attack dog suit to being painted green as an alien, with a house full of other streamers as the supporting cast. Subathons are the engine: a month of streaming with a running sub count turned him from a mid-size channel into one of the most subscribed on Twitch. He also makes music, from his first song in 2023 to the Love Bomb EP in 2024.

Why it travels. What travels is the clip with a moment in it: the prom kiss, the dog bite, the Airbnb owner telling the party to leave in February 2025, as [Dexerto](https://www.dexerto.com/twitch/jasontheween-kicked-out-of-airbnb-by-furious-owner-for-throwing-party-3137968/) reported. His relationship storylines with Sakura drew the biggest live numbers of his career, and the CORE group videos put him in front of five other streamers’ audiences.

Brand fit. Gaming hardware, energy drinks, fast food, apparel and music partners aimed at a young Twitch audience. Bloomberg’s $3 million a year figure says he can carry a sponsor on his own, but brands should expect live, unscripted streams where the bit always comes first, and a fan base that reacts loudly to his personal life.
