Comedy · YouTube · Updated Oct 9, 2026
Tyler Fischer is a stand-up comedian, impressionist and actor from Branford, Connecticut, who splits his time between New York City and Austin, Texas. He built his audience with impression and character videos, and his YouTube channel has about 499,000 subscribers. For almost two years he was a recurring guest on Fox News’s Gutfeld!, last appearing in January 2025; in April 2025 he posted that he had been removed from the show, a story The Hollywood Reporter covered with his response. The same stretch brought a lifetime ban from Delta Air Lines over a post on X and attention on a lawsuit he had filed against a talent management firm, which Fox News reported in February 2025. He is still touring clubs.

Questions people ask
Who is Tyler Fischer?
Tyler Fischer is a stand-up comedian and impressionist from Branford, Connecticut, based in New York City and Austin, Texas. His YouTube channel, open since 2009, has about 499,000 subscribers and more than 150 million views, built on character videos like “Pretending to be Humans of NY” and “Pretending to work at Apple,” per Famous Birthdays. He has performed on America’s Got Talent, and his YouTube bio lists roles on Younger, Chicago Med, Lady Ballers, Mr Birchum and Terror on the Prairie. His site says The New York Times called him “The Best New Impressionist.”
What happened to Tyler Fischer? Why do people say he was cancelled?
Three stories that came to a head in 2024 and 2025, all on the record. By his own account, Delta Air Lines put him on its no-fly list in summer 2024 over a post on X, and a later Delta letter made it a lifetime ban. In February 2025, Fox News reported on his lawsuit against a talent management firm he says cost him roles. In April 2025 he said Gutfeld! had dropped him after almost two years, and he told The Hollywood Reporter he had been “canceled” months before that. Each has its own answer below. Through all of it he kept working: his Fox Nation special No Pardon Needed was filmed at Joe Rogan’s Comedy Mothership in Austin on January 20, 2025, and he has club dates booked into December 2026.
What happened to Tyler Fischer on Gutfeld? Is he still on the show?
He is not, as far as anything we could source shows. On April 16, 2025 he posted on X: “After almost 2 years I will no longer be on @Gutfeldfox TV show,” saying he had been removed over an interaction with a show employee, that he had “proof,” and that he was “seeking legal counsel for defamation.” The Hollywood Reporter reported on April 18, 2025 that a source described the exchange differently; Fischer told THR the interaction was “mutual and very friendly.” Fox News declined to comment. THR counted 16 Gutfeld! appearances and none on any Fox News Channel show after January 2025. As of October 2026 we have found no report of a return, or of a defamation suit being filed.
Why was Tyler Fischer banned from Delta?
Over a post on X about a Delta flight attendant. On October 29, 2024 he wrote that it was “Day 83” of being on Delta’s no-fly list over a tweet and that Delta would not return his calls. View from the Wing, an airline industry site, reported on February 22, 2025 that he had photographed a flight attendant’s Pride pin during a flight and posted it with comments that Delta’s letter described as vulgar, and that he later removed the attendant’s face from the post. It quoted the Delta letter banning him for life, which called the post “disrespectful towards our flight attendant and contrary to Delta’s values and culture” and cited the safety of crew and customers. We have not found a further public statement from Delta, or a report that the ban was lifted.
Who is Tyler Fischer suing? Is there a lawsuit update?
A talent management company. In February 2025, Fox News reported that he is suing AGI Entertainment Media & Management, a Manhattan firm, alleging that he lost roles he had booked because of diversity hiring policies. The central evidence, per the report, is a recording of a call in which an AGI manager allegedly called it “company policy.” Fox News said the suit was filed about three years earlier and was in early discovery; Fischer said “it’s on tape” and that he did not know whether it would reach trial. The report carried no response from AGI. As of October 2026 we have not found a newer update or a reported ruling in major press.

Our read
Ames Create does not work with Tyler Fischer. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.
The format. Impressions and characters: a voice people recognize, a premise that fits in a title (“pretending to be” an Apple employee or an IKEA couples therapist), and a straight face held all the way through. On stage and on his channel the material has moved toward news and politics, with bits clipped from his sets and his Gutfeld! spots.
Why it travels. A premise in the title and a familiar voice make the early videos easy to pass around, which is how the channel passed 150 million views. Lately the stories travel further than the clips: the Gutfeld! exit and the Delta ban both started as his own posts and were picked up by press, so part of his audience follows the fight as much as the jokes.
Brand fit. Narrow right now. Brands already buying Fox Nation comedy inventory are the natural fit. A brand outside that lane should expect questions about the Delta ban, the Gutfeld! exit and an open lawsuit.
