Comedy · YouTube · Updated Sep 23, 2026

JR JAYY is a prank YouTuber whose videos are mostly shot around Colorado: connecting to a store’s walkie-talkies or a drive-thru headset and talking to customers, screaming in stores, and ding-dong-ditch runs on college campuses and hotels. The channel dates to 2015 but the prank run started around 2023, and by 2025 “Connecting To Drive Thru Headset Prank!” had passed 14 million views on YouTube, where he has about 1.8 million subscribers, with about 1.7 million more on TikTok. Most of the shoots are with Khan Asadi, and each of them posts his own cut.

Questions people ask

Who is JR JAYY?

JR JAYY is a public prank YouTuber with about 1.8 million subscribers. His channel goes back to 2015, with early uploads like a WSHH questions video and a one-chip challenge, and pivoted to pranks around 2023: hijacking store walkie-talkies, connecting to drive-thru headsets, exploding basketballs, screaming in stores, ding-dong-ditch runs. 2025 was the breakout year, when the drive-thru headset video hit 14 million views and both YouTube and TikTok crossed 1.7 million.

What is JR JAYY’s real name?

He goes by JR and has not formally announced a name. His handles on YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat are juniorsangare67 and his Instagram display name reads Junior Sangare, so that is the name his own accounts use.

How old is JR JAYY?

He is 23. Famous Birthdays lists June 10, 2003.

What are the JR JAYY and Khan Asadi videos?

They shoot together and post separately. The walkie-talkie and store-intercom bits are the shared signature: JR’s “Walkie Talkie Prank!” series and “Connecting To Drive Thru Headset Prank!,” Khan’s “Hacking Store Intercoms!” and “Connecting to TV’s In STORES!” The same shoot often appears on both channels weeks apart, and both posted trailers for a Streamer University application in June 2026. JR’s channel is older and larger; neither has said who started with whom, so we do not either.

What kind of pranks does JR JAYY do?

Hidden-camera public pranks in big-box stores, hotels and drive-thrus, cut into ten to twenty minute episodes plus Shorts. The catalog also includes provocation premises, among them a ding-dong-ditch series aimed at registered sex offenders, “surviving 24 hours” videos at notorious locations, and several titles about being arrested or banned from stores. No news outlet has reported on any of those incidents, so the titles are the only record.

Does JR JAYY have merch?

No. As of September 2026 there is no store in his bio links or video descriptions; the only links are his socials and a Discord. The “JR Jays” apparel store that shows up in search is unrelated. Khan Asadi sells his own merch.

Does JR JAYY stream?

On and off. He returned to Twitch in June 2026 after about eight months away, with a “Comeback Stream” trailer on YouTube, and runs a second channel, JR LIVE, for stream content.

Where can I watch JR JAYY?

YouTube @Juniorsangare67, TikTok @juniorsangare11, Instagram @juniorsangare67, Twitch jrjayy11. He has said he will cut his hair when the main channel reaches 2 million subscribers.

Does JR JAYY have a wife or girlfriend?

Not something we cover.

Who represents JR JAYY?

He runs his own channel; no management is listed. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because the walkie-talkie prank is one of the most copied formats on YouTube right now and he is one of the two people who made it. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with JR JAYY. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. JR found a prop that does the work: a walkie-talkie or a headset turns any store into a stage and any customer into a scene partner. The recurring franchises, four walkie-talkie videos, four drive-thru videos, four ding-dong-ditch videos, mean every upload arrives with a proven hook.

Why it travels. Two channels posting the same shoot doubles the reach, and the reactions clip cleanly into Shorts that pull one to four million each. The provocation titles travel too, for better and worse.

Brand fit. No sponsor has appeared in any description we checked. A brand would be buying a young male audience and a format that depends on strangers not knowing they are in a video, which limits the list to brands comfortable with that.
