Our read

Ames Create does not work with Ben Azelart. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. Big, simple premises with a price tag or a deadline in the title: build a secret room, last to leave wins $10,000, hide a floating house from the girlfriend. The main channel now carries a few high-budget builds a year, and Stay Wild carries the steady stream of friend-group challenges and Shorts.

Why it travels. The titles read in one glance and the thumbnails never give away the ending, which is what Tubefilter singled out about his Shorts. A family-safe tone keeps him in kids’ and parents’ feeds at once, and the move to Netflix and connected TV puts the same videos on the living room screen.

Brand fit. Toys, games, snacks and family retail, as Pokémon, Copilot and the Army collaboration show, and now his own cereal at Target. His audience skews young, so any partner has to clear kid-safe advertising rules, and a competing cereal or snack brand is out while Backflip is his.
