What happened to Calfreezy?

As of November 2026, nothing has ended for Calfreezy: he moved from FIFA videos into running a podcast company, sold it, and still hosts and uploads every week. In July 2023 KSI, the Sidemen, WillNE, ChrisMD and Callux invested £1.5 million in The Fellas Studios, according to the studio’s July 13, 2023 press release, and on October 7, 2025 Global announced it had acquired the studio, listing him as CEO and co-founder. His YouTube channel now runs on food challenges, from Cooking Battle VS KSI to Cook Off VS Niko Omilana!, and its description reads “If you’re looking for Michelin-star reviews, you’re in the wrong place.” The Fellas posted a new episode on November 3, 2026. One thing fans noticed: a February 3, 2026 episode of The Fellas was titled “Why Freezy Almost Quit YouTube,” per the show’s feed; we have not verified what he said in it, so we do not characterize it.

Is Calfreezy in the Sidemen? Why did Calfreezy leave the Sidemen, and why is he not in the group?

Calfreezy has never been a member of the Sidemen, so as of November 2026 there is no departure to explain; he is a long-time friend of the group who works with it often. Famous Birthdays describes him as friends with members of the Sidemen, such as Wroetoshaw, Vikkstar and KSI. The ties are on the record: the Sidemen invested in The Fellas Studios in July 2023, per the studio’s press release; his podcast’s feed covers a Sidemen April Fools prank on him (April 4, 2023) and the Sidemen flying the hosts to Mexico (July 4, 2023); and on February 25, 2025 the show announced he was managing Sidemen FC in that year’s charity match. Calfreezy has not explained his accent in anything we could source. What is public: the notes for his 2020 appearance on JaackMaate’s Happy Hour say he talked about growing up in countries all over the world, and Famous Birthdays gives his birthplace as England.
