What happened to Edwin Sarkissian on YouTube in 2026?

As of October 28, 2026, Edwin Sarkissian has not posted to YouTube in all of 2026. His last long video, How Many Caulks does it take to stop a Bullet?, went up on September 30, 2025, and his last Short, Concrete Guns Vs 50BMG!, on November 1, 2025. Social Blade showed his video count flat at 979 through mid-September 2026, with the channel still drawing tens of thousands of views a day. He has not posted a video or a community post explaining the gap, and we found no news report about it.

Why did Edwin Sarkissian stop making videos? Is he still making videos?

Edwin Sarkissian has explained one break and not the current one. In 2024 he went about six months without a long video, from Can Silver brick stop bullets? 50BMG? on July 17, 2024 to Why We Stopped Uploading... on January 26, 2025. In that video he apologized for giving no updates, said fans had been emailing and messaging to ask what happened, and said in the end that they “just didn’t feel like making videos” and “took a long break.” He then posted regularly through 2025, with Ridge sponsorships and a Clear Ballistics affiliate code in the descriptions. Since November 1, 2025 he has posted nothing, and as of October 2026 he has not said why or whether he will return.

Is Edwin Sarkissian still alive? Did Edwin Sarkissian die?

As of October 2026, there is no report that Edwin Sarkissian has died: we found no death reported in any news outlet. His most recent public activity we could find is a YouTube Short, Concrete Guns Vs 50BMG!, posted November 1, 2025. The question is not new. In his January 26, 2025 video Why We Stopped Uploading... he said people had been contacting him and his friends to ask whether he was dead or alive, and answered on camera: “I’m not dead.” We could not read his Instagram posts, so we cannot say whether he has posted there since.

Was Edwin Sarkissian in an accident?

Edwin Sarkissian has said he was not, and we found no report of an accident in any news outlet as of October 2026. In Why We Stopped Uploading... (January 26, 2025) he said a rumor had spread during his 2024 break that he had crashed and died, and said “no car accidents.” In the same video he denied a rumor that YouTube had banned the channel.

Was Edwin Sarkissian in the military?

We found no statement from Edwin Sarkissian, on his channel or in the press, that he served in the military, as of October 2026. His military content is testing gear, not service: videos like US military helmet vs Russian military helmet, Indian, Chinese, Ukrainian and Canadian helmet tests, and a 1 Mile Armor Test in 2025. The war history on the channel belongs to items he says are his grandfather’s, covered in the next question.

Who is Edwin Sarkissian’s grandpa? Is the Lamborghini really his grandpa’s?

Edwin Sarkissian’s grandfather is a running part of the channel, mostly through things Edwin says belong to him; Edwin has not published his name. The Lamborghini series started with I can’t Believe we did this to my Grandpa’s Lamborghini (June 26, 2020) and World’s first Bulletproof Lamborghini (July 29, 2020, about 6 million views). Other titles credit his grandpa with a World War II pocket pistol in My Grandpa’s Daily Carry from WW2 (August 2020), a bunker in throwing a real call of duty grenade in my grandpa’s bunker (November 2020) and Vietnam war body armor (February 2021), and in his January 2025 comeback video he shot what he called his grandpa’s original World War II Mauser rifle. In an October 2021 video he joked about “stealing” his grandpa’s motorcycle and said his grandpa never wants to talk about his war days. Not every grandpa title is literal: My Grandpa’s Secret $100 million collection (August 2023) is a tour of the U.S. Ordnance factory with gun designer Mark Serbu.

Where is Edwin Sarkissian from? Where is he now?

Edwin Sarkissian’s birthplace is Armenia, per Famous Birthdays. On his own channel he said “we’re from California” while welcoming guests to Nevada in an October 2021 video, and his shooting videos are filmed in the desert, with a 2023 trip to U.S. Ordnance in Nevada. He has not said publicly where he lives now, and we do not go further than that.

How old is Edwin Sarkissian? What is his real name?

Edwin Sarkissian has not published a full birthdate, so we do not print an age. Famous Birthdays lists only a birth year, 1984, with no month or day. Edwin Sarkissian is the name on his channel and his early video titles, and he has not published another.

Where can I watch Edwin Sarkissian?

Edwin Sarkissian’s full archive, about 800 long videos plus Shorts going back to SHOOTING PINEAPPLES in March 2016, is on YouTube @EdwinSarkissian, though nothing new has been posted since November 1, 2025. He is also on Instagram @edwinsarkissian, Facebook and X @EdwinSarkissian, and his site edwinsarkissian.com is a small store page that, as of October 2026, lists one giveaway item.

What is Edwin Sarkissian’s net worth?

Edwin Sarkissian does not publish a number and neither do we.

Is Edwin Sarkissian Armenian? What is his ethnicity, and what about his family or who he is dating?

Not something we cover.

Who represents Edwin Sarkissian?

As of October 2026, no agency or manager is named for Edwin Sarkissian: his YouTube About page lists a personal email address and his social links, nothing more. Brands appear in his video descriptions as sponsors and affiliates, including Ridge, Clear Ballistics, USCCA, Grip6 and American Hartford Gold, and he credits Gun Prime on camera for sending guns. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because a channel with more than five million subscribers went silent and people keep asking whether he is all right. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Edwin Sarkissian. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. A row of ordinary objects, a bigger gun each round, and one question: how many does it take? He counts the holes out loud, explains the calibers in plain terms, jokes with the person behind the camera, and saves the 50 BMG for the end. The grandpa props, from the bulletproof Lamborghini to World War II pistols, give the channel a running story without a script.

Why it travels. The titles are complete questions anyone can picture, which is why a video about cast iron skillets passed 91 million views and grenade-in-a-safe videos travel well beyond gun fans. Country-by-country helmet tests pull in viewers from each of those countries. The pieces cut easily into Shorts: [Gun Safes Vs 50BMG!](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/oNaelF6zMMY) passed 1.5 million views in October 2025.

Brand fit. Nobody right now, since the channel has been silent since November 2025. When he was active, the fit was clear: everyday carry gear like Ridge wallets, ballistic gel, safes, body armor, optics and firearms retailers, all of which he worked with on camera. Any brand should wait until he says whether he is coming back.
