Questions people ask

Who is TJ Hunt?

TJ Hunt is a car YouTuber with about 2.4 million subscribers on YouTube who films daily vlogs of building, tuning, drifting and selling his cars. SEMA News described him in April 2020 as an automotive YouTube influencer known for his widebody Subaru BRZ, “Miley,” with a garage that then included an RX-7, Mk4 and Mk5 Supras, a 350Z and a Lamborghini Aventador. He also owns Hunt & Co, an apparel brand whose Zumiez store reveal he filmed in November 2025 (video); StreetHunter Designs, the widebody kit he co-developed with Streetfighter LA, per PASMAG; and R-Spec, a wrap shop he opened in 2025 and called “my new Wrap shop R-spec” in an August 5, 2025 video.

What happened to TJ Hunt? Is he part of Throtl or a pro drifter?

As of October 2026, nothing has happened to TJ Hunt beyond a busy year on camera: his channel is active, and his October 21, 2026 upload previews an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 build headed for a reveal at the Meguiar’s booth at SEMA. The search spikes come from car sales (below), his June 2026 wedding, and a May 8, 2026 video, Responding to BigTime’s Drama and Accusations, which he describes as racing his drift Supra at Throtl’s Throwdown drag event after the BigTime crew posted that he would lose. Nothing we found makes him part of Throtl; he has raced at its events and filmed I CALLED OUT THROTL at SEMA in November 2025. On drifting, he filmed himself competing for a Formula Drift license in October 2021 and in July 2025 introduced a 2JZ Supra built by Drift HQ as “our new pro car” (video). We have not confirmed a Formula Drift entry for him. He has stepped back once before, with goodbye for now, youtube. on July 31, 2022, and returned.

Are TJ Hunt and Calvin still friends? What happened to TJ Hunt and Calvin?

As of June 2026, TJ Hunt and Calvin are still on camera together: on June 5, 2026 TJ posted RESCUING CALVIN’S DEAD BRZ!, writing that they headed to Calvin’s house to save his BRZ and that it “felt like a vlog from 7 years ago.” Calvin was a regular in the older vlogs, from Calvin Bought a 2020 Toyota Supra!! to Calvin Crashed His Supra and Totaled it in April 2021, and TJ told PASMAG that StreetHunter started with him and his best friend Calvin building cars in their garages. The June 2026 video framed the visit as a throwback. Neither has described a falling out on the record that we found, so we do not suggest one.

Is TJ Hunt still with Sabrina? Is TJ Hunt married?

Yes, as of October 2026 TJ Hunt is married to Sabrina, who has appeared in his vlogs for years. He announced the engagement in We are getting Married on December 10, 2025, opened his June 8, 2026 video I Sold the Car I Drive the Most with “Just a casual day of getting married right?”, and titled a July 22, 2026 upload My Wife’s First Impulse Purchase!. Did TJ Hunt sell his cars? What happened to his M5 wagon, NSX, Supra and Lamborghini?

TJ Hunt sells cars regularly and usually says so in a video. The BMW M5 wagon, which he picked up in June 2025 and called the first in America, went in Why I’m Selling My Cars... on November 19, 2025, whose chapter list includes “Selling the BMW M5.” The junkyard Acura NSX he bought for $30,000 in January 2024 was finished in March 2024 and covered in Selling My Car Collection on April 22, 2024, which has a chapter on the NSX sale. His twin turbo widebody Lamborghini Huracan went to WhistlinDiesel on April 7, 2022, and in June 2022 TJ reacted to WhistlinDiesel smashing its windows. The Supra questions cover several cars: his drift A90 Supra was replaced by a 2JZ Supra pro car in July 2025, and on March 31, 2026 he flew to Florida for a chassis for “another Mk4 Supra build” but his offer was not accepted. He walked through every car he sold in 2025 in his January 2026 collection tour.

What happened to TJ Hunt’s Veilside RX-7 and white RX-7?

TJ Hunt has not announced selling his Veilside RX-7 in anything we found. He started the Tokyo Drift replica build in January 2022 (Part 1, his most viewed video in the series with about 2.7 million views), began a 1,000 horsepower three rotor version in 2024, and showed its 20B engine running on November 18, 2024. His other RX-7 news is separate: on August 10, 2026 he posted My RX7 is Officially Dead, writing “After 10 years of this Rx-7, Its time to say goodbye,” and in summer 2026 he revived an abandoned RX-7 (video). On October 16, 2026 he was still buying parts for an FD RX-7, so the model has not left his garage.

Who represents TJ Hunt?

As of October 2026, no agency or manager is named publicly for TJ Hunt that we could find; his brand deals run through his own channel and companies. Our read

Ames Create does not work with TJ Hunt. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. A daily garage vlog where the cars are the cast: a build gets started, breaks, gets fixed and gets sold, and every step is an episode. Titles do the heavy lifting, “I’m Selling It... Let me Explain,” “My RX7 is Officially Dead,” so a parts install reads as a cliffhanger, and friends, Sabrina and other car creators fill the gaps between builds.

Why it travels. Car sales and goodbyes travel furthest because viewers have watched the car for years, and pop culture builds like the Tokyo Drift Veilside RX-7 pull in people who have never touched a wrench; its first part passed 2.7 million views. Collabs with Adam LZ, Throtl events and BigTime trash talk add other creators’ audiences, and TikTok, at about 3.4 million followers, now outpaces the YouTube channel.

Brand fit. Aftermarket parts, wheels, wraps and car care first: his SEMA 2026 Vantage build is headed for the Meguiar’s booth, and his descriptions already carry reads from Helix Sleep, Fabletics, Warby Parker and Sundays for Dogs. Giveaway-led sponsors fit his Hunt & Co giveaway model. He owns his own apparel and body kit brands, so competing apparel or kit makers are a poor fit.
