Is Daily Driven Exotics shutting down? Is DDE ending, and where is it moving to?

As of October 28, 2026, Daily Driven Exotics has not shut down: it posts about every two days, and its newest upload, Revealing Our MOST Ambitious Sema Build EVER!, went up on October 28, 2026. The questions come from the channel’s own titles. On January 22, 2026 it posted Why We’re Leaving California, then on February 15 and 17, 2026 Why We’re Moving into Adam LZ Compound in Florida!!? and The Next Chapter of DDE Florida Starts Here... LZ Compound Decision, filmed with fellow car YouTuber Adam LZ. In October 2026 came It’s Time to Say Goodbye.. (October 2), Is DDE Ending? (October 6) and I Took DDE Somewhere California Didn’t Expect! (October 8). What happened to Garet and Tim from Daily Driven Exotics?

Daily Driven Exotics announced on September 22, 2026 that crew member Garet had died, in a video titled We Lost Garet, whose description asks viewers to support his family and says 100% of the video’s revenue goes to them. In January 2025 the DDE Behind The Scenes channel had shared that he was diagnosed with cancer, in DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER…, giving that video’s ad revenue to his GoFundMe (its description spells his name Garrett). Tim, a regular in DDE videos from 2023 and 2024, left the crew: the behind the scenes channel posted ADDRESSING TIM LEAVING DDE on December 16, 2024, after main channel episodes like DAMON’S PISSED! TIM SELLS GIFTED CAR… (April 2024). DDE has not given a reason for Tim’s exit in any title or description we could read, and we found no press coverage of it.

Why is Daily Driven Exotics banned from Turkey?

Daily Driven Exotics has not said it is banned from Turkey in any title or description we could read, and we found no report of a ban in an accepted outlet. What is public is a run of trouble there during Gumball 3000 in 2025. On September 21, 2025 the channel posted WE HAVE NO GUMBALL CAR! TURKISH CUSTOMS STOPS FLIGHT!, and on September 23, 2025 TURKISH POLICE SEIZE OUR LAMBORGHINI SCV12! “YOU CAN’T LEAVE!”. In December 2025 it posted CORRUPT GOVERNMENT MADE US DELETE THIS VIDEO, linking to that “lost Turkey video,” and a July 2026 clips re-upload says the crew was stopped at the border with Bulgaria and the video was first removed after the situation “became more complicated behind the scenes.”

Who is Officer Torres on Daily Driven Exotics?

Daily Driven Exotics does not use the name Officer Torres in any video title or description we could find, and no press coverage names him, so we do not name any officer. What the channel does have is a recurring California motorcycle officer. In January 2024 DDE posted YOU WON’T BELIEVE COPS DIRTY HARASSMENT TACTICS! *COMPLAINT FILED*, now past 3 million views, and a June 2026 clips upload says Damon and Dave were pulled over by a motorcycle officer they recognized from an earlier, more famous encounter, with a part 2 about filing a complaint. The clip descriptions present these as real traffic stops; police videos have been a channel staple since at least February 2021, a stop video with about 8.7 million views.

Is there a Daily Driven Exotics lawsuit, drama or controversy?

We found no lawsuit against Daily Driven Exotics reported by an accepted outlet or in court records as of October 2026. The channel has posted its own court videos about a case involving one of its Lamborghinis, JUDGE MAKES RULING IN HATERS VS LAMBORGHINI LAWSUIT COURT CASE… (August 2023) and a follow up in July 2024. Dexerto reported on March 24, 2025 that Fryer was ticketed for “impeding” traffic on a Southern California freeway and accused police of entrapment in his video; the same report notes a Dodge Challenger crashed into his McLaren 720 GTR in December 2022. Dexerto also reported, in an undated article on Instagram posts from February 9, that Parker of Vehicle Virgins called Fryer a poor role model over his jokes in videos about “sipping syrup” before driving and accused him and Alex Choi of using racial slurs on a recording; Dexerto printed no response from Fryer. In June 2023 DDE posted CONFRONTING SHMEE150 FOR DISRESPECTING DDE & GUMBALL LIVERY…, a public falling out with the British car YouTuber.

In June 2018 the Kelowna Capital News described DDE as based on Vancouver Island. The About page now lists headquarters in Compton, California, though the channel posted Why We’re Leaving California in January 2026. We found no source saying anyone on DDE is a twin; its hosts, as Dexerto names them, are Damon and Dave.

Who represents Daily Driven Exotics?

As of October 2026, no outside agency or manager is named publicly for Daily Driven Exotics; its video descriptions list an in-house address, business@dailydrivenexotics.com, for business inquiries. Ames Create does not represent Daily Driven Exotics or Damon Fryer; we cover them because people keep asking whether DDE is ending and what happened to its crew, and the answers sit scattered across hundreds of video titles. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Daily Driven Exotics. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. A vlog with a garage attached: Damon, Dave and the crew drive the cars, break them, fix them and argue about them, with the title doing the hook in capital letters. Police stops, border trouble and shop drama sit next to builds and rallies, so every episode has a problem to solve before the credits.

Why it travels. Big price tags in titles, a $5,000,000 McLaren or a $1,000,000 Lamborghini, plus open questions like Is DDE Ending? keep viewers coming back to see how the story turns. Police videos travel furthest; the best of them have passed 3 million and 8 million views, and clip channels re-post them years later.

Brand fit. Automotive aftermarket, detailing and protection film, diagnostic tools, tow and truck builds, and legal and insurance services for drivers, all of which already sponsor the channel. The audience expects loud, real-world use, so a product has to hold up in a road trip, not a studio.
