Questions people ask

Who is Zias?

Zias is the YouTuber behind ZIAS!, a reaction channel built on him and his co-host B.Lou watching new rap and music videos and reacting in real time. The channel, created in September 2013, has about 5.1 million subscribers and more than 700 million views per Social Blade. His online name is JustZik on X and Snapchat, and before YouTube he played college football.

What happened to Zias and B.Lou? Did they break up?

As of October 2026, no. The channel’s own upload feed shows a new “ZIAS & B.LOU” live stream every few days through October 12, 2026, mostly a running segment called Hood Research Dept. plus story times and live reactions, and a September 2026 stream of the pair in a 100-streamer Fortnite duo tournament. Neither has announced a split in anything we could find. What did change is the format: the channel description still promises new reaction videos every day, but the uploads are now mostly full live streams.

What happened to Zias’s YouTube channel?

It is still active. Per Social Blade in October 2026, ZIAS! has about 5.1 million subscribers, about 712 million total views and 622 public videos, and it is still gaining subscribers. The shift people notice is from short daily reaction uploads to long archived live streams with B.Lou. Recent streams draw roughly 25,000 to 65,000 views each on YouTube.

What happened between Zias and Adin Ross?

Nothing we could source. We found no major or trade press report of a collaboration, a partnership or a dispute between Zias and Adin Ross, and neither has addressed one on the record that we could find. If either of them puts something on the record, this entry will say so.

Did Zias play football? Why did Zias and B.Lou quit football?

Zias did. ESPN Dallas reported in February 2010 that Zik Asiegbu signed with Tulsa out of Arlington Bowie High School in Texas, where his coach said he started his senior season as a defensive back and finished it at linebacker. Rivals reported in April 2011 that he had enrolled at Tulsa that January as a grayshirt freshman. He has not given a reason for stopping in anything we could source; he talked about training for college football on The Soaak Podcast in March 2025. We found no published football record for B.Lou.

Did Zias go to the NFL?

Not that we could find. There is no published record of him on an NFL roster or at an NFL tryout. The football career we can source is high school in Arlington, Texas and a college signing with Tulsa in 2010.

Why was Zias named in Drake’s lawsuit?

Drake’s January 15, 2025 lawsuit against Universal Music Group cited the Zias and B.Lou reaction to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which had more than 6.6 million views, as an example of creators allowed to monetize the song. Zias told Rolling Stone that he had asked an Interscope contact to whitelist the song, that the video was monetized for less than a week, and that “we react regardless of it getting copyrighted or not.” B.Lou answered with a diss track, per Complex.

How old is Zias?

34. Famous Birthdays lists his birthday as June 7, 1992.

What is Zias’s real name?

Zik Asiegbu. He appeared under that name on The Soaak Podcast in March 2025, and his handles (JustZik, @justzik1) use the first name.

Where is Zias from?

Los Angeles, per Famous Birthdays. He played high school football in Arlington, Texas before signing with Tulsa in Oklahoma.

Where can I watch Zias?

YouTube at ZIAS!, where the live streams with B.Lou are archived. Note that the @zias handle on YouTube is an unrelated ASMR channel. He is also on Instagram @justzik1, TikTok @zikdgaf and X @JustZik.

What is Zias’s net worth?

He does not publish a number and neither do we.

Who represents Zias?

His YouTube About page lists a business inquiries email, and no agency or management has been named by him or in trade press. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because people keep asking what happened to him and B.Lou, and the answer is on his own channel. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Zias. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. Two friends watching a new song for the first time is the whole format, and the chemistry between Zias and B.Lou is what people come back for. Reacting the day a big rap video drops puts them at the top of search while the song is still news, and the move to long live streams keeps the same audience around for hours instead of minutes.

Why it travels. Rap beef is the engine. A Drake or Kendrick release sends fans looking for reactions, and a duo that has been doing this since the 2010s is a familiar first click. Their own moments, like B.Lou’s Drake diss track in January 2025, get picked up by hip-hop accounts and press and send people back to the channel.

Brand fit. Music, streaming, gaming and the sneaker and apparel brands around hip-hop culture are the natural fit, and the 5.1 million subscriber base is real reach. The streams are unfiltered, so family and conservative brands should look elsewhere.
