Why was Nina Lin banned from Twitch?
Twitch does not give reasons, but it has suspended her four times since October 2025. The first, in late October 2025, followed a resurfaced May 2024 clip of her and Zoe Spencer holding FaZe Silky’s assistant, Said, on a bed as he tried to leave; she was back within 48 hours and said, “What we did was wrong. He clearly was uncomfortable with it,” per Dexerto. A second suspension came on October 30 as more clips resurfaced, including one with Disguised Toast, and she apologized to both men on Instagram. The third, on December 2, 2025, followed a November 30 stream at a Target self-checkout where she appeared to scan cheaper items than she bagged and brushed it off when chat noticed, per Dexerto and Complex; she returned around December 26. The fourth came days after the June 2026 arrest, when her channel showed an indefinite-suspension notice, per Dexerto. Her channel was streaming again by late July 2026.

Why it travels. Guests bring their audiences, and each one cuts their own clips. The incidents travel furthest: every suspension and arrest has become its own news cycle, which keeps the name in autocomplete whether or not people have watched a stream.
Brand fit. Beauty, food and fashion are the natural categories, and her streams already live there. But four Twitch suspensions and two arrests in twelve months are part of the record, and for most brands the honest answer is nobody right now.
