Fitness · YouTube · Updated Sep 29, 2026

Greg Doucette is a Canadian IFBB pro bodybuilder, powerlifter and online coach who turned a YouTube channel started in 2006 into a daily fitness commentary show. Known to his audience as Coach Greg, he reacts to celebrity workouts and other fitness creators, covers bodybuilding contests like the Mr. Olympia, and cooks lower-calorie versions of comfort food from his own cookbooks. His channel tagline, “Harder Than Last Time,” is also the name of his supplement company, HTLT. He turned pro in 2012, holds a Guinness World Record for the heaviest sumo deadlift in one minute, and his YouTube has about 2.4 million subscribers and more than 4,500 videos.

Is Greg Doucette the lawyer?

No. This entry is about Greg Doucette the Canadian bodybuilder and YouTuber. He is not T. Greg Doucette, an American lawyer who shares the name.

How old is Greg Doucette? What is his real name?

He is 51; Famous Birthdays lists September 15, 1975. Guinness World Records printed his full name as Greg Austin Doucette when it certified his deadlift record in 2015.

What is the Greg Doucette cookbook?

The Ultimate Anabolic Cookbook, now at version 3.1 on his site: high-protein, lower-calorie takes on comfort food. He also sells the Meatless Anabolic Cookbook, the Power 13 Cookbook and The Circle Diet, and many of the recipes have their own videos on his channel, from protein muffins to lasagna.

What is HTLT? Does Greg Doucette sell turkesterone?

HTLT is his supplement brand, named after his saying “Harder Than Last Time.” Trade site Stack3d reported in 2021 that its first products were a pre-workout, a fat burner and a whey protein, and that the line had grown to include a turkesterone product called Turk Builder. The HTLT shop now lists Turk Builder Platinum and Turk Builder Max next to protein, creatine and CICO protein bars. We cover the business, not what any supplement does.

What world records does Greg Doucette hold?

Guinness World Records lists him for the heaviest sumo deadlift in one minute: 50 lifts of 182.6 kg in Halifax, Nova Scotia, 9,130 kg in total, more than double the previous mark (Guinness, December 2015). How tall is Greg Doucette?

He has not published a number anywhere we would cite, so neither will we. His competitive record is easier to pin down: Muscle Insider lists the 2012 CBBF Canadian Nationals, light heavyweight, the year he turned IFBB pro.

Where can I watch Greg Doucette?

YouTube @GregDoucette, where nearly everything lands first, and Instagram @gregdoucetteifbbpro. His cookbooks and coaching are on gregdoucette.com.

What is Greg Doucette’s net worth?

He does not publish a number and neither do we.

Who is Greg Doucette’s wife? Who is he dating?

Not something we cover.

Who represents Greg Doucette?

His YouTube About page lists a business email for signed-in viewers, and his coaching and books run through gregdoucette.com. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because he built one of fitness YouTube’s most prolific channels on calorie math and blunt opinions, and then built a cookbook and supplement business on top of it. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Greg Doucette. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. Coach Greg is a credentialed pro who talks like the loudest guy at the gym. The videos are simple: a trending claim, a celebrity workout or another creator’s video, and his verdict, delivered fast and with conviction. High volume and low production mean he is usually first to weigh in.

Why it travels. Reaction videos borrow the reach of whatever they react to, so every viral transformation or Olympia upset is a new front door to the channel. The recipes travel on their own, and “Harder Than Last Time” is a catchphrase people repeat back to him.

Brand fit. He owns a supplement company, so a rival supplement is not a fit. Kitchen gear, high-protein and lower-calorie food, calorie-tracking apps and gym equipment are. The honest caveat: his format is critique, so a brand should be comfortable being reviewed on camera.
