He co-hosts the basketball podcast Hoopin’ N Hollerin’, which began as The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone in 2022, per Awful Announcing, and he is one of the three hosts of Barstool’s improv podcast Son of a Boy Dad with Lil Sasquatch and Francis Ellis, where he plays the show’s producer. What happened to Rone Barstool? Is Rone still at Barstool?
As of October 2026, Rone is still at Barstool Sports; nothing we could find says he has left. What changed in 2026 is his basketball show: in March, Patrick Beverley was kept off the podcast the two had started together, and it went on with Rone and Jason Williams as Hoopin’ N Hollerin’, per Awful Announcing and TMZ. He also won Season 5 of Surviving Barstool, per his video How I Won Surviving Barstool. In late October 2026 Apple Podcasts still listed Adam Ferrone as a host of Son of a Boy Dad, with new episodes that week, and in October 2026 his YouTube channel was posting new episodes of The Nicest, presented by New Amsterdam Vodka.
What happened to the Pat Bev Podcast with Rone? What happened between Rone and Pat Bev?
The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone became Hoopin’ N Hollerin’ and, since March 2026, goes on without Patrick Beverley. Beverley, the former NBA guard, started the show with Rone in 2022, per Awful Announcing, which reported on October 5, 2025 that Dave Portnoy wanted to “combine Pat Bev, J-Will, and Rone” into one three-person basketball podcast. After what TMZ called Beverley’s November 2025 arrest in an assault case, Portnoy said he was taking “forced time” away from Barstool. Awful Announcing reported on March 18, 2026 that felony assault charges were dropped in February 2026 after a grand jury reportedly found insufficient evidence; TMZ reported the same day that a grand jury declined to indict him and that he maintained his innocence. Beverley then said that Rone, Williams and the rest of the staff had agreed to keep him off the show, per Awful Announcing. Per TMZ, he said Rone was surprised and told him he had found out only about 15 minutes before Beverley did, and that he had “no beef, no shade, no anything” with Barstool. We found no on-the-record response from Rone.

He started at Penn State, where an impromptu filmed battle with the rapper Charles Hamilton drew more than 600,000 views, and he signed with Raw Life Records, the Philadelphia label co-owned by Dice Raw, for his first album, The First Story, per The Daily Collegian. “I never thought about being a rapper,” he told the paper.

Is Rone from Barstool the French musician Rone?
No, this entry is about Rone of Barstool Sports, Adam Ferrone, not the French electronic music producer Erwan Castex, who also records as Rone, or the street artist who paints under the name. If you searched for the Barstool host, the battle rapper behind The Nicest or the winner of Surviving Barstool Season 5, you are in the right place.
How tall is Rone? What is Rone’s Barstool salary? What happened to his knee?
Rone has not published his height or his salary, and we found no report of either in an accepted outlet, so we do not give numbers. We also found no report in an accepted outlet, or on his own channel, of a knee injury, so we have nothing to add on that search. If he talks about any of these on the record, this entry will add it.
Where can I watch Rone?
Rone posts The Nicest and his Barstool office videos on YouTube at RoneDotCom, which has about 89,000 subscribers and more than 1,000 videos as of October 2026, and goes live there on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. Eastern, per the channel. He is on Son of a Boy Dad and Hoopin’ N Hollerin’ on Barstool’s podcast feeds, and Surviving Barstool Season 5 is on Barstool Sports’ YouTube. Does Rone have a wife or kids? What about Rone’s family?
Not something we cover.
Who represents Rone?
As of October 2026, no agent or manager is named publicly for Rone that we could find; his shows run through Barstool Sports. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because people search Rone Barstool by name and the story of his basketball podcast is spread across several outlets. If that changes, this entry will say so.
Our read
Ames Create does not work with Rone. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.
The format. Rone works in two modes. The Nicest takes the battle rap format he won a title in and flips it, so two rappers stand face to face and try to out-compliment each other. The rest is office content: cook-offs, tests and brackets with Barstool coworkers, plus podcasts where he is the straight man to louder co-hosts.
Why it travels. The Nicest travels because the joke is clear in one line and the rappers are real battle names. His office videos ride on the people in them, and Surviving Barstool gave him a season-long win that his audience could follow week to week.
Brand fit. Spirits and food brands already fit: New Amsterdam Vodka presents The Nicest. Basketball and music brands would suit him too. Deals run through Barstool rather than through him, and the podcasts’ loose, crude tone will not suit every brand.
