What is Large from Barstool’s real name?

What did Large do before Barstool Sports? Was he on Wall Street?

Yes, Large worked on Wall Street before Barstool Sports. In his own 9/11 post, he writes that he deferred law school and took a job on the American Stock Exchange in September 1993, right after college, as a clerk for an equity specialist, and that by 2001 he was a trader at Citigroup’s offices at 390 Greenwich Street. His Barstool bio puts the total at 25 years as a block trader. He told those stories on Drop A Pin Ep. 21 in March 2025, an episode about Wall Street in the late ’90s and early 2000s, and in the Barstool Stories video about his switch to Barstool.

Where was Large on 9/11?

His wife was working on the New York Stock Exchange floor that morning. He writes that seven men from the small specialist firm that gave him his start were killed at a company breakfast at Windows on the World, including members of his wife’s family, and that he ran from the dust cloud along the Hudson, then crossed the Manhattan Bridge and met his wife in Brooklyn. Twisted History also marked the day with an episode in September 2020, and one on the 20th anniversary in September 2021, in which his wife told her family’s story.

Who represents Large?

As of October 2026, Large works for Barstool Sports, and his Barstool bio names no agent or manager. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Large (Barstool). This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. A former trader in a young company, and the shows lean into it: a retired trader who still eats like he has a corporate card, interviewing chefs and coworkers about food, then switching to NASCAR on Thursdays and dark history on Twisted History. The Wall Street stories are the hook nobody else at Barstool can tell.

Why it travels. His reach mostly rides Barstool’s channels rather than his own; about 104,000 Instagram followers is small next to the company’s accounts. What travels is the guest: a Terry Crews or Jon Taffer episode pulls a food audience that would never search Barstool, and the 9/11 post gets reshared every September.

Brand fit. Food and grocery brands first, since that is the whole show: his feeds already carry reads for Pepsi, HelloFresh, Marzetti and CHEFiQ, some with a LARGE code. NASCAR and sportsbook partners fit Rubbin’ Is Racing. A brand that wants him buys a Barstool deal, not a solo creator.
