Comedy · TikTok · Updated Oct 9, 2026
Uncle Lazer is a stand-up comedian from the Houston area, now based in Austin, Texas, who worked in the oil fields for more than a decade before Kill Tony made him a familiar face. He has never been an official regular or Golden Ticket winner, but the show has kept bringing him back since about 2022, and Netflix lists him in the cast of its April 2026 special KillTonyMania. The same month Netflix named him a contestant on Funny AF with Kevin Hart. He headlines clubs on his own tour, hosts The Drunk Uncle Podcast and has about 239,000 followers on TikTok.

Questions people ask
Who is Uncle Lazer?
Uncle Lazer is a Texas stand-up comedian whose tour bio describes a “raw, blue-collar, rough-around-the-edges” style and more than a decade working in the oil fields before stand-up. At Kill Tony’s Houston taping in February 2026, host Tony Hinchcliffe introduced him as someone who, “while never officially being a golden ticket winner or a regular,” got famous for being funny offstage, started comedy on Kill Tony and is now headlining around the country. He has since appeared on two Netflix shows, KillTonyMania and Funny AF with Kevin Hart, and hosts his own podcast.
What happened to Uncle Lazer on Kill Tony? Was he banned? Why did he leave?
Nobody on the record, not him and not the show, has said he was banned, and the show’s own episodes point the other way. Transcripts show him doing sets on #719 (recorded May 5, 2025), where Hinchcliffe called him “an old friend of the show”; on #735 (recorded September 8, 2025), billed as “the return of the one and only Uncle Lazer”; on #758 (February 16, 2026), where he opened the show; on #761 in Houston (February 28, 2026); and on #781 (August 3, 2026). Recording dates are from the show’s episode notes. Because he was never a credited regular, those notes do not list him. He has not announced leaving the show.
Is Uncle Lazer still on Kill Tony?
As of October 2026, yes, as a recurring guest rather than a regular. The latest set we could confirm is on #781, recorded August 3, 2026 and released that month, where Hinchcliffe told the crowd “You’ve seen him many times before.” We did not find a set from him in the transcripts of the seven numbered episodes recorded after that, through #788 on September 28, 2026. That is normal for a non-regular, and nobody has said it means anything more.
What happened between Uncle Lazer and Tony Hinchcliffe?
No falling out is on the record. What is public is how Hinchcliffe talks about him on the show, which is with a mix of affection and warning labels. In May 2025 he brought him up as “a very, very controversial character. Some people love him. Some people don’t love him at all.” In February 2026 he called him “one of the most polarizing figures in this show’s history,” and two weeks later, in Houston, told him that watching him grow “set after set on this show is an anomaly.” He also keeps bringing him back.
What happened to Uncle Lazer on Funny AF?
Netflix announced him on April 9, 2026 as one of the contestants in the Chicago group of Funny AF with Kevin Hart, its stand-up competition, listed from Austin, Texas. He is not among the top 10 finalists Netflix profiled when the season ended; Ron Taylor won, per Tudum on May 6, 2026. Neither he nor Netflix has described his exit in anything we could source, so we do not guess at what happened in his round.
Is Uncle Lazer in a movie?
Yes, in a small way. Famous Birthdays reports that he signed on to play DJ Lazer in Robbie Lopez’s horror film ZombieSluts Stripclub Slaughterhouse, and on Kill Tony #735 in September 2025 he told the panel he had shot a film role about a year earlier that was due out within weeks. On Netflix he is in the cast list of the 2026 Kill Tony special KillTonyMania, filmed in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 42 week, per WWE.
Is Uncle Lazer funny?
The Kill Tony crowd splits on that, and the show says so out loud. His sets are fast, crude stories, heavy on sex and race, that end with the same sign-off, “My name’s Uncle Lazer.” Some rooms love it and some do not, which is roughly what the host means by polarizing. The fact that he now headlines, including a July 2026 show at the Visalia Fox Theatre in California, suggests enough people land on yes.
How old is Uncle Lazer? What is his real name?
He is 36. Famous Birthdays gives his birthday as September 30, 1990. He performs as Uncle Lazer everywhere, including on Netflix, and no other name has been published by him or by major press, so we do not list one.
Where is Uncle Lazer from?
The Houston area. At Kill Tony’s Houston taping in February 2026, Hinchcliffe introduced him as “born and raised on the outskirts of Houston, Texas,” and his tour bio calls him Texas-born. He is based in Austin: Netflix listed him from Austin for Funny AF, and Steph Tolev’s podcast introduced him as “Austin’s own.”
Where can I watch Uncle Lazer? Is he on tour?
YouTube @unclelazer, TikTok @unclelazer69, Instagram @uncle_lazer and X @UncleLazerComic. His podcast is The Drunk Uncle Podcast. His Kill Tony sets are on the Kill Tony channel, in episodes including 719, 735, 758, 761 and 781, and KillTonyMania and Funny AF are on Netflix. He tours as a headliner, and his dates are on Punchup.
What is Uncle Lazer’s net worth?
Uncle Lazer does not publish a number and neither do we.
What about Uncle Lazer’s religion, family or who he is dating?
Not something we cover.
Who represents Uncle Lazer?
His link page sends tour dates to Punchup and lists Cameo and his podcast; we found no agency or manager named on his own channels or in trade press. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because people keep asking whether Kill Tony banned him, and the show’s own episodes answer most of that. If that changes, this entry will say so.
Our read
Ames Create does not work with Uncle Lazer. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.
The format. A one-minute Kill Tony set built like a bar story: a stranger, an offer, a turn, then the sign-off. The material is crude on purpose and the persona is a rough-edged Texas uncle, so the interview after the set often lands as hard as the minute. The show uses him as a recurring character rather than a regular, which is part of the draw: nobody knows which week he turns up.
Why it travels. Polarizing travels. A set half the room loves and half the room hates produces replies, stitches and arguments, and his YouTube channel has passed 32.9 million views since July 2022 on the back of that. Two Netflix shows in one month put him in front of people who have never sat through a full Kill Tony episode.
Brand fit. Narrow and specific. His tour bio lists work with BlueChew and PrizePicks, and his link page is full of affiliate offers, so adult-skewing men’s products and fantasy sports have already found him. Mainstream and family brands should pass: the act leans on race and sex, and the host himself calls him polarizing.
