Pat Regan is a musical comedian and guitarist best known as the first band leader on Kill Tony, the live podcast hosted by Tony Hinchcliffe. The show’s own episode notes credit him on 168 episodes, from #80 (recorded November 17, 2014) to #274 (recorded June 25, 2018), and Hinchcliffe has said the band started with him alone before he brought in Jeremiah Watkins. The two then worked as the duo Regan and Watkins, whose self-titled album came out on Comedy Dynamics in June 2019, per the label’s release. He has not been credited on Kill Tony since a guest spot that same month, and he has not said publicly why his run ended.

Questions people ask

Who is Pat Regan?

Pat Regan is a comedian and guitarist who played musical comedy in Los Angeles and started the house band on Kill Tony. Introducing him as a guest on episode #357 in June 2019, Tony Hinchcliffe said the show “switched over to having a band and it started with just” Pat Regan, who then brought in Jeremiah Watkins, and called the two “the only two band leaders in this show’s history.” Outside Kill Tony, the 2019 Comedy Dynamics release credits him with The Eric Andre Show, Adam DeVine’s House Party and Last Comic Standing.

Is Pat Regan still on Kill Tony?

No. As of October 13, 2026, Kill Tony’s episode notes have not listed him since #357, recorded June 3, 2019, and his last credit in the weekly lineup is #274, recorded June 25, 2018. None of the episodes since, through #789 released October 12, 2026, include him. The Pat heard on the show now is Pat O’Neill, a current regular and a different comedian.

What happened to Pat Regan on Kill Tony? Why did he leave?

He has not given a public reason that we could source, and neither has the show. What is public: the episode notes credit him on 168 episodes, starting with #80 (recorded November 17, 2014), next to Sara Weinshenk and Kimberly Congdon in the early lineups. From #93 (February 2015) Jeremiah Watkins is listed with him, and the two shared 113 episodes. His last weekly lineup credit is #274 (recorded June 25, 2018). Watkins went on leading the band until the show left Los Angeles at the end of 2020. When Pat came back as a guest on #357, Hinchcliffe told the crowd the band “was all” his design.

What is Pat Regan doing now? Where is he now?

Very little is on the record. On his June 2019 return to Kill Tony #357, per the episode’s transcript, he told a first-time comedian that he had quit doing stand-up, adding “that’s true,” and Hinchcliffe repeated it: “He quit doing stand up.” The same week, Comedy Dynamics released the Regan and Watkins album. Los Angeles was his base as of that release. Since then we have not found a channel, tour listing or new credit that we can tie to him, so we stop there. If he publishes one, this entry will add it.

What is Regan and Watkins?

A musical comedy duo of Pat Regan and Jeremiah Watkins, described by their label as based in Los Angeles and built on “guitar saxophone rock n’ roll comedy.” Their self-titled debut album came out on Comedy Dynamics on June 7, 2019, per the release and Icon vs. Icon. His one quote in the announcement: “I agree with Jeremiah Watkins.” They promoted the album as guests on Kill Tony #357, the week of its release.

How old is Pat Regan? What is his real name?

He has not published a birthdate, and we found no Famous Birthdays page for him, so we do not list an age. He is credited as Pat Regan in the Kill Tony notes and on the album, and he has been called Patty on air. No fuller name has been published by him or by press.

Is this the Pat Regan who writes for Hacks, or the British campaigner?

No to both, as far as published bios show. Pat Regan the TV writer, who writes for HBO Max’s Hacks, is described in his bios as a Long Island native, and none of them mention Kill Tony (The Den Theatre, W Hotels). This entry is about the Kill Tony band Pat Regan, whose credits are The Eric Andre Show, Adam DeVine’s House Party and Last Comic Standing. It is also not about Pat Regan, the British campaigner of the same name.

Where can I watch Pat Regan?

His Kill Tony years are in the show’s podcast archive on Apple Podcasts, episodes #80 to #274, plus the guest spot on #357. The Regan and Watkins album is on Apple, and the label listed Spotify, Pandora and other services at release. He also performs on season 3, episode 8 of Adam DeVine’s House Party, “A Very Dramatic Episode,” which aired April 21, 2016.

What is Pat Regan’s net worth?

He does not publish a number and neither do we.

What about Pat Regan’s family or personal life?

Not something we cover.

Who represents Pat Regan?

We could not find a contact page, agent or manager for him; the 2019 album came out on Comedy Dynamics, which is a label, not representation. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because he started the Kill Tony band and people still ask where he went. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Pat Regan. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. Musical comedy for a live room: guitar under a host’s riffing, songs that are mostly punchlines, and on Kill Tony a house band that stayed in character every week. Regan and Watkins took the same idea out as a duo, jokes set to loud rock.

Why it travels. Nearly all of his reach came through Kill Tony, which put him in front of its audience every week for close to four years, and the show’s back catalog still carries those episodes. Since 2019 there has been little new material under his name, so what circulates now is the archive and the album.

Brand fit. Nobody right now, simply because there is no current channel or schedule to build on. If he returns, a comedy label, a music gear brand or a venue reviving the Regan and Watkins act would be the natural fit.
