Questions people ask

Who is Wesley Bryan?

Wesley Bryan is a pro golfer from Columbia, South Carolina and one half of the Bryan Bros, the YouTube golf channel he runs with his older brother George. He earned his PGA Tour card in 2016 by winning three times on the Web.com Tour, per Yahoo Sports, and won the RBC Heritage on April 16, 2017, one shot ahead of Luke Donald, per CBS Sports. He has played 134 PGA Tour events. The Tour suspended him in April 2025, and as of October 2026 his golf runs mostly through YouTube and creator events.

Is Wesley Bryan still suspended from the PGA Tour?

Yes, as far as anything public shows. As of October 2026 we found no report in major or trade press that the Tour has lifted it, and GolfMagic still described him as suspended on July 7, 2026. After Brooks Koepka’s return to the Tour, Bryan wrote in January 2026 that Koepka’s return “has no bearing on my situation,” per GolfMagic. He then sent the Tour a letter asking for reinstatement; he told Skratch the reply came from an assistant and said “no conversation is necessary,” and asked why they could not talk by phone for 10 to 15 minutes, per Golf Digest on February 5, 2026. The Tour typically does not comment on suspensions.

Why did Wesley Bryan get suspended? Did the PGA Tour ban him?

It is an indefinite suspension, not a stated lifetime ban, and it is over one YouTube video. In early April 2025 he played The Duels: Miami, a nine-hole scramble filmed at Trump Doral the week before the Masters, with six two-man teams that each paired a LIV Golf captain with an influencer. The video went up on Grant Horvat’s channel on April 6, 2025. Bryan was placed on probation the day after he played and suspended the day after the video was published, and Golf Digest reported the Tour had warned him beforehand, per NBC Sports. He played with Dustin Johnson and they finished fifth, per MyGolfSpy; his brother George and Sergio Garcia won it. His response at the time: “No, I don’t have regrets,” and he called it one of the most powerful videos in YouTube golf. On appeal he argued, “I don’t feel like when the rule was written it was meant to cover content creation on YouTube,” per GolfMagic.

What happened to Wesley Bryan on the PGA Tour?

He won once, in 2017, then lost his full card before the suspension. He finished 156th in the 2024 FedEx Cup standings and had made three starts in 2025 when he played The Duels, per CBS Sports, which also noted he had been runner-up to Billy Horschel at the Corales Puntacana Championship the year before. At the time he said he was “extremely grateful to the Tour” and did not want this to be the end of his professional career. In 2026 he is one of four team captains in Your Golf Tour, a creator golf league, alongside George, Grant Horvat and Brad Dalke, per Golf Digest.

Why did Wesley Bryan play a round in 90 minutes at the BMW Championship?

Because he was alone, out first and out of contention. On Sunday, September 17, 2017, the final round of the BMW Championship at Conway Farms, Danny Lee’s first round withdrawal had left 69 players, so Bryan, last after three rounds, went off by himself in the first tee time. He could have asked for a marker and chose not to, per The Golf News Net. He shot a 2-under 69 and tweeted “1 hour 29 min,” per CBS Sports, then joked that a three hour flight delay was long enough for two more rounds. The Tour keeps no official timings, so it stands as an unofficial record, per Golf Monthly.

Did Wesley Bryan qualify for the Open in 2026?

No, but he came close twice. At Final Qualifying at West Lancashire on June 30, 2026 he shot 70-67 to finish seven under, then missed a six foot par putt on his 36th hole that would have put him in a playoff, per Golf Digest. That got him into the R&A’s first Last Chance Qualifier at Royal Birkdale, a 12 player, 18 hole shootout, on a world ranking tiebreak, per Golf Channel. Joe Dean won it with a 68 on July 13, 2026, per the DP World Tour. His last Open start was in 2017, per Golf Monthly.

How many PGA Tour wins does Wesley Bryan have? What are his results and earnings?

One PGA Tour win: the 2017 RBC Heritage, at 13-under 271, per CBS Sports. Before that he won three Web.com Tour events in 2016, the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, the El Bosque Mexico Championship and the Digital Ally Open, which earned him an immediate PGA Tour promotion, per Yahoo Sports. He was also runner-up to Luke Kwon in a playoff at the first PGA Tour Creator Classic at East Lake in August 2024, per the PGA Tour. We do not list earnings; his official numbers are on his PGA Tour player page.

Who represents Wesley Bryan?

The Bryan Bros YouTube channel lists a business email for business and media inquiries. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Wesley Bryan. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. A Tour winner playing on camera with his brother: matches against creators and pros, money games and tournament vlogs. The golf is real enough that the result matters, and the brother banter carries the holes where nothing happens.

Why it travels. Every match is a crossover, since the other side posts its own cut, and his story travels on its own: a winner on Tour suspended over a YouTube video gets written up by golf press every time it moves. Moments like the 89 minute round at the BMW or a missed six footer for an Open playoff turn into clips without any help.

Brand fit. Golf equipment, apparel, launch monitors and golf travel fit naturally, and the creator league gives a sponsor a season to sit inside. The one question for a brand is how close it sits to the PGA Tour, since the suspension is part of his story for now.
