From Instagram itself
$0

With one sponsored Reel a month. From 31,200 followers and 48,200 views a Reel.

What a sponsored Reel could pay

On Instagram the money comes from brands and fans, not from Instagram. This is what comes back when you type your followers and your usual Reel views.

  • 01

What a month could look like

A low and a high for one month, from the sponsored Reels you land. Change how many and it moves.

  • 02

What one sponsored Reel could pay

Your usual Reel views times $15 to $35 per 1,000, the band where two published benchmarks agree.

  • 03

What fans can pay you, and from what size

Gifts and Subscriptions each have a follower number. The result says which side of each you are on.

  • 04

    Every number sourced

The Reel rate is linked to where it was published, and what Instagram pays is from Instagram’s own pages.

How it works

  1. 1

    Type three numbers

Your followers, the views a Reel usually gets, and how many you post a month. Rough is fine.

  2. 2

The math runs in your browser

Nothing is looked up and nothing is sent. No handle and no login.

  3. 3

    You get an estimate

What a sponsored Reel could pay, and what Instagram does and does not pay.

What makes it worth using

  • It tells you Instagram pays $0 per view

There is no Instagram payout per view to show. This one says so plainly and does not invent one.

  • Priced from views, not followers

Two accounts with the same followers can get very different views. The brand is paying for the people who see the Reel.

  • The rate has two sources

$15 to $35 per 1,000 views is where two published benchmarks agree. Both are linked on the page.

  • Free, and nothing is stored

No sign-up and no email wall. What you type stays in your browser.

How much do Instagram creators make per post?

For a sponsored Reel: about $15 to $35 for every 1,000 views your Reels usually get.

The math. The views a Reel of yours usually gets, divided by 1,000, times $15 to $35. That is the band where Modash ($15 to $45) and Karat ($15 to $35) agree. On the made-up account at the top of this page, 48,200 views a Reel comes to $700 to $1,700.

What it is a price for. One Reel on your own page, before anything extra. If the brand wants to run it as a partnership ad or keep you away from its competitors, that is priced on top.

The Instagram Sponsorship Rate Calculator does this from your real views, with a Reel price table and what partnership ads add.

Does Instagram pay you for views?

No. This is the part most earnings calculators leave out.

Instagram has no open program that pays per view or per Reel. Its own help page lists what it offers creators, and the only money that comes from Instagram itself is bonuses. Instagram says it is testing those by invitation only and for a limited time.

Everything else is money from fans:

  • Gifts on Reels, from 500 followers.
  • Subscriptions, from 10,000 followers.

So for most Instagram creators the estimate is the brand line, and that is the one this page works out.

How much do Instagram influencers make with 10k, 100k or 1 million followers?

Most answers to this are a table by follower count. Here is why we do not give you one.

What the published lists say. For 1,000 to 10,000 followers, Shopify lists $25 to $150 an Instagram post and Hootsuite lists $20 to $200. The two do not match, and each band is several times wide.

Why they are that wide. A follower count does not say how many people see a post. Take two made-up accounts with 100,000 followers. One gets 8,000 views a Reel and prices a sponsored Reel at $125 to $275. The other gets 60,000 and prices it at $900 to $2,100.

So use your views. At 10,000 followers or a million, the number that prices a Reel is what your Reels usually get. That is what the calculator asks for.

Instagram earnings, and where the numbers come from

None of these numbers is ours. Each rate is the band where two published figures agree, and each requirement is the platform’s own. We would rather show you the sources than ask you to trust us.

What Instagram says about paying creators

What a sponsored post pays

  • Modash, “Influencer marketing CPM benchmarks” (March 2026)Estimated CPM ranges by format for US and UK creators: TikTok videos $7 to $25, Instagram Reels $15 to $45, YouTube integrations $15 to $35, YouTube dedicated videos $50 to $75 and up. The author says they come from experience and conversations, not a large study.
  • Karat, “How much to charge for a brand deal” (undated)Lists rates per 1,000 views by format: Instagram Reel $15 to $35, TikTok integrated mention $15 to $40, TikTok dedicated video $25 to $60, YouTube sponsored segment (a 60 to 90 second mid-roll) $20 to $50, YouTube dedicated video $30 to $80.

Questions people ask

How much do Instagram creators make per post?

For a sponsored Reel, about $15 to $35 for every 1,000 views your Reels usually get. That is the band where Modash ($15 to $45) and Karat ($15 to $35) agree. On the made-up account on this page, 48,200 views a Reel comes to $700 to $1,700 for one sponsored Reel. Instagram itself pays nothing for the post.

Does Instagram pay you for views?

No. Instagram has no open program that pays per view or per Reel. The only money it pays creators directly is bonuses, and Instagram says those are tested by invitation only, for a limited time. Money on Instagram comes from brands and from fans.

How much do Instagram influencers make with 10k followers?

Published price lists for 1,000 to 10,000 followers give $25 to $150 a post (Shopify) and $20 to $200 (Hootsuite). The bands are wide because followers do not say how many people see a post. If your Reels usually get 3,000 views, the views math gives $45 to $100.

How much do Instagram influencers make with 100k followers?

It depends on what their Reels get. Two accounts with 100,000 followers can be very far apart: at 8,000 views a Reel, a sponsored Reel prices at $125 to $275, and at 60,000 views it prices at $900 to $2,100. Type your own views into the calculator and it uses your number.

How many followers do you need to make money on Instagram?

For brand deals there is no set number. Instagram’s own brand marketplace opens at 1,000 followers. For money from fans, Gifts on Reels start at 500 followers and Subscriptions at 10,000.

Does this price Stories, carousels or photo posts?

No. It prices a sponsored Reel, because that is the format with a per-view benchmark we could source twice. We have not found one for Stories or photo posts that we trust enough to put in front of you.

Is this what a specific influencer earns per post?

No. It estimates from numbers you type about your own account and does not look anyone up. What a named creator charges is between them and the brand.

Is it free?

Yes, with no account. The math runs in your browser, so the numbers you type are not sent to us or stored. To price a Reel from your real views, the Instagram Sponsorship Rate Calculator reads your handle.
