Who is Frank the Tank?

What happened to Frank the Tank at Barstool?

In order: on April 3, 2017 an NJ Transit derailment made him late for the Mets’ Opening Day game, and his rant to NBC New York at Penn Station went viral, per NBC Sports and MLB.com, which led to spots on MLB Network and FS1. Dave Portnoy and Dan Katz saw something in him, and he worked part time for Barstool for three years before going full time in 2020, per WPRI. Portnoy later said he had been “dead-ass wrong” about limiting Frank’s time on camera, per Barrett Media. Frank Walks has since put him next to guests like Mike Francesa, Scott Van Pelt, J.J. Watt and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and in September 2025 he did a Sunset Boulevard stunt for Lionsgate’s The Long Walk, per FOX 32.

What is Frank the Tank’s real name? What does he look like?

His name is Frank Fleming. His YouTube channel describes itself as the “official channel of Frank Fleming, aka Frankthetank from Barstoolsports.com,” and press has used the name since 2017. He is not an anonymous account: he is on camera in nearly every video he posts, so his channels are the best place to see him.

Why is Frank the Tank a Dolphins fan?

He has not explained it in anything we could source. What is public: he roots for the Miami Dolphins even though he is from New Jersey, streams Dolphins games on his own channel (for example Dolphins Chargers Live and Dolphins Miracle in Vegas Livestream), and joined Barstool Gambling for a Dolphins vs Bills stream.

What happened to Frank the Tank from YoBoy Pizza?

That is a different creator. The Frank the Tank who plays Madden and MLB The Show against YoBoy Pizza runs his own gaming channel, @frankthetank13, and is not Barstool’s Frank Fleming. That channel’s most recent upload we could see, as of October 2026, was a Madden franchise playoff video on June 15, 2026. We have not seen him explain the gap, and we do not cover that channel here.

Who represents Frank the Tank?

No manager or agent is listed on his channels; his cooking videos list an email for recipe ideas, and his work runs through Barstool Sports. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because people keep asking whether he left Barstool, and the answer is on the record. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Frank the Tank. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. The appeal is a regular guy who expects the worst from his teams and says so at full volume, with a court clerk’s backstory and no polish. Frank Walks turns that into a repeatable format: one guest, one walk, an easy conversation, and a sponsor read that fits naturally inside it.

Why it travels. His rants about the Mets and the Dolphins are short, loud and easy to clip, and Barstool’s clip channels and fan accounts cut them into compilations. Frank Walks travels the other way: a well-known guest walking beside him gives the guest’s own fans a reason to watch and share.

Brand fit. Brands already work with him. BodyArmor presented the 100th Frank Walks with Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Lionsgate used him for The Long Walk in 2025. Sports drinks, fitness apps, food, grilling gear and New York and New Jersey sports properties fit the feeds. Any deal runs through Barstool, so expect Barstool’s tone around it.
