Timmy No Brakes is a comedian known for a loud, leather-jacket-and-sunglasses character on Kill Tony, played by Tim Stiefler, the name on his own YouTube channel. He was pulled from the bucket in May 2025 after, he said, two months of stand-up, and by September 2025 host Tony Hinchcliffe was calling him a golden ticket winner and taking him on the road as an opener. Netflix lists him in the cast of the 2026 special KillTonyMania. He has not quit the show: as of October 2026 his latest set is on Kill Tony #790, recorded October 12, 2026, where he dropped the jacket and glasses for part of the set. His Instagram has about 244,000 followers.

Questions people ask

Who is Timmy No Brakes?

Timmy No Brakes is a stand-up comedy character from Kill Tony: a swaggering comic in a leather jacket and sunglasses who calls the crowd names, tells jokes with no punchlines and hands his joke book to strangers. He first came up as the final bucket pull of Kill Tony #723, recorded May 28, 2025, introducing himself by telling the crowd to buckle up, and Hinchcliffe praised him for being fully committed to the character. By the next appearance he was a viral hit, and the show has kept bringing him back as a featured act ever since. The man behind it performs and posts as Tim Stiefler.

Is Timmy No Brakes still on Kill Tony? Did he quit, and why is he not on Kill Tony anymore?

As of October 2026, Timmy No Brakes is still on Kill Tony and has not announced quitting. His latest set is on #790, recorded October 12, 2026 and released October 20, where Hinchcliffe introduced him as “an absolute legend of the show,” and he also did a set on #785, recorded September 7, 2026. What changed is the paperwork: the show’s episode notes listed him next to regulars like Martin Phillips and Dedrick Flynn on #771 through #781 (released June 9 to August 18, 2026), and have not listed him since. On #785 Hinchcliffe called it his return “for the first time in quite a while,” adding that he thought it was the first since KillTonyMania. Earlier, on #767, recorded April 20, 2026, Hinchcliffe told the crowd he was “recovering from a big fall at WrestleMania.” Neither he nor the show has said more than that.

What happened to Timmy No Brakes? Did he win a golden ticket?

Yes, Timmy No Brakes won a Kill Tony golden ticket in the summer of 2025, a few months after his debut. On #729, recorded July 14, 2025, Hinchcliffe said “He’s not a golden ticket winner. He’s not a regular,” but that he went so viral his first time that he had to bring him back, and called him “the people’s golden ticket winner.” By #736, recorded September 1, 2025, the show was calling him a golden ticket winner, with Hans Kim back from a San Antonio show with him. On #737, two weeks later, Hinchcliffe said he had just finished his first weekend opening for him, with David Lucas also on that road trip. On #741 he handed Hinchcliffe and Redban scripts for his own interview, and Hinchcliffe recalled the dove that fell out of his jacket at Madison Square Garden. In 2026 Netflix put him in the cast of KillTonyMania, next to Uncle Lazer and William Montgomery.

Did Timmy No Brakes get cancelled or go to jail?

No, Timmy No Brakes has not been cancelled as of October 2026: no accepted news outlet has reported it, Kill Tony keeps booking him, and Netflix put him in KillTonyMania in 2026. The jail question comes from the character. On his debut he told Hinchcliffe he had served two months over cocaine, and on #729 he said he got in trouble for bringing a real gun to laser tag; both were part of the bit, delivered with the same straight face as everything else. We found no report of an arrest in a major news outlet.

Why did Timmy No Brakes get punched? What happened to his eye?

Timmy No Brakes has not talked about being punched or about an eye injury in any Kill Tony transcript we checked, and we found no report of either in an accepted outlet, so we do not repeat the clips or claims behind those searches. The only injury on the record is Hinchcliffe’s April 2026 remark on #767 that he was recovering from a big fall at WrestleMania, around the KillTonyMania taping in Las Vegas. If he or the press explains more, this entry will say so.

Is Timmy No Brakes a character? Who is he in real life, who is he based on, and why is he funny?

Yes, Timmy No Brakes is a character, and the comedian behind it, Tim Stiefler, plays with that openly. On #741, recorded October 13, 2025, he did an “impression” of an ordinary guy named Tim Stiefler from San Diego, and on #790, a year later, he took off the jacket and glasses mid-set, prompting Hinchcliffe to ask, “What’s the character? What’s not?” As for who it is based on, on his debut Hinchcliffe told him the act sounded like Andrew Dice Clay, “who was literally doing your act 45 years ago,” and Timmy said he had never heard of him. The joke is the commitment: a hack comic with total confidence, bombing on purpose, insulting the host and the crowd, and never once breaking. The crude insults and slurs are part of the act by design.

Is Timmy No Brakes Adam Ray? Is he connected to Matt McCusker?

No, Timmy No Brakes is not Adam Ray. Adam Ray is a separate comedian known on Kill Tony for his Dr. Phil impression, and on #755, recorded February 2, 2026, Hinchcliffe pointed out it was the first time Timmy No Brakes and Dr. Phil had been on the same show at the same time; the show’s notes also credit both on #780 at the Intuit Dome. We found no sourced connection between Timmy No Brakes and Matt McCusker: McCusker guested on Kill Tony #731, recorded July 28, 2025, and Timmy does not appear in that episode’s transcript.

How old is Timmy No Brakes? What is his real name?

Timmy No Brakes has not published a real birthdate, so we do not print an age. The character’s own claims are part of the joke: on his debut he told Hinchcliffe he was 18, then 24, and his YouTube About page still says “I’m 18.” His real name is Tim Stiefler, the name on his YouTube channel and his Instagram, and the name he used for himself on Kill Tony #741 and #790.

Where is Timmy No Brakes from?

Timmy No Brakes is from San Diego by his own account out of character: on Kill Tony #741 and #790 he introduced the man behind the jacket as Tim Stiefler from San Diego. The character tells it differently: on his debut he said he was from Jersey and had moved to Austin, where Kill Tony tapes, two months earlier.

Where can I watch Timmy No Brakes? Is he on tour?

Timmy No Brakes’s sets are on the Kill Tony YouTube channel, in episodes including 723, 729, 737, 741, 755, 785 and 790, and KillTonyMania is on Netflix. He posts on YouTube @timmynobrakes, Instagram and TikTok. He headlines comedy clubs: as of October 2026 he is listed at The Comedy Vault in Batavia, Illinois, on November 7, 2026, and on the Killers of Kill Tony bill at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver on November 28, 2026, per Live Nation. Earlier 2026 dates included Comedy Off Broadway in Lexington, Kentucky, on August 7.

What is Timmy No Brakes’s net worth?

Timmy No Brakes does not publish a number and neither do we.

What about Timmy No Brakes’s girlfriend, wife, dad, weight loss or what he looks like without glasses?

Not something we cover.

Who represents Timmy No Brakes?

As of October 2026, no agency or manager is named for Timmy No Brakes on his own channels or in the listings we read; his shows are sold through each venue and ticketing site, and Live Nation lists him for the Killers of Kill Tony date. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because people keep asking whether he quit Kill Tony and who is under the jacket, and the show’s own episodes answer both. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Timmy No Brakes. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. A one-minute Kill Tony set played as performance art: the jacket, the sunglasses, a joke with no punchline, an insult for the front row, then an interview where the character never breaks. The show treats him as a recurring event rather than a weekly regular, with long build-up introductions, and lately he has started stepping out of the character on stage, which keeps the act from going stale.

Why it travels. The character is a clip machine. Every appearance produces a moment people share, from the joke book handoff to the dove at Madison Square Garden to the jacket coming off on #790, and the “is it a character” question keeps people searching. A Netflix credit and opening slots for Hinchcliffe put him in front of crowds that never sat through a full episode.

Brand fit. Narrow. Kill Tony’s own sponsors, men’s products, fantasy sports and energy drinks fit an audience that already knows the bit. The act runs on slurs and crude insults by design, so mainstream and family brands should pass, and any brand has to be comfortable with a spokesman who may stay in character the whole time.
