JiDion is Jidon Adams, a 25-year-old YouTuber from Houston, Texas, who became one of the best-known pranksters online with stunts like getting a haircut in the stands at the 2022 US Open. In September 2023 he deleted his prank videos, and since then most of what he posts comes from EDP Watch, sting videos in which his team confronts men the videos say arranged to meet decoys posing as minors. His main YouTube channel has about 8.5 million subscribers, and his second channel, JiDionPremium, is the one that uploads every few days. On June 22, 2026 he was arrested on a livestream in Woodhaven, Michigan, and on July 13 he said the charges had been dismissed, as Dexerto reported.

Questions people ask
Who is JiDion?
JiDion is the online name of Jidon Adams, a YouTuber from Houston, Texas. His channel dates to July 2018 and started with challenge videos and comedic Call of Duty and GTA gameplay, which he filmed while working at Lowe’s and then delivering for Uber Eats at night, he told Complex in 2022. Pranks made him famous: crashing a University of Houston class, getting a haircut at the US Open, sleeping courtside at a WNBA game. In April 2023 Rumble signed him to an exclusive livestreaming deal. Since late 2023 his channels have been built around EDP Watch, his sting operation, and his YouTube bio now reads “Retired Menace, Part Time EDP Hunter.”
What happened to JiDion in 2026? Why did he get arrested?
On Monday, June 22, 2026, he was arrested outside a McDonald’s in Woodhaven, Michigan, while livestreaming. FOX 2 Detroit reported that he and fans had gone there to confront a man over a housing dispute another YouTuber had publicized, and that the man had gone to the restaurant. Police said McDonald’s management called about a large crowd and that four people were arrested for “Breach of Peace and Stalking.” Those arrested were held overnight and arraigned the next day, with a pretrial hearing set for July 13. Dexerto reported that he was charged with disturbing the peace and stalking. These were charges, not findings.
What happened to JiDion’s case? Is JiDion out of jail? Is he on parole?
He is out. Per Dexerto, he was released on a $10,000 bond before the July 13, 2026 hearing. That day he posted a video saying all charges had been dismissed with prejudice: “I genuinely beat the case, y’all,” and “This case is completely behind me.” Dexerto reported his account and did not cite confirmation from the court or police, and we have not found a court record or press report confirming it either, so the dismissal is his statement on the record. We found no report in major press of him being on parole, and he has kept posting new videos every few days since.
Why did JiDion go to jail before? What about the University of Houston arrest?
That was 2023. The Houston Chronicle reported that on February 13, 2023, he and another YouTuber disrupted a class at the University of Houston, refused to leave when the professor called campus police, and that the Harris County District Attorney’s Office issued a warrant charging him with criminal trespass. On April 16, 2023, he was arrested on a Harris County warrant while streaming, per the San Antonio Express-News, telling viewers “I’m about to go to jail.” We did not find a reported outcome for that charge in major press.
Why did JiDion quit YouTube and stop pranking? Why is he not posting?
He stopped pranking, not posting. In September 2023 he uploaded “Why I Deleted All My Videos...” and took down his prank catalog, and in October 2023 HotNewHipHop reported he was retiring the JiDion name for a new channel. The personal reasons he gave are not something we cover. As of October 2026 his main channel shows 31 videos, the newest about a year old, while JiDionPremium uploads sting videos every few days. After his July 2026 court date he said he was done with prank-style streaming and would focus on catching predators, per Dexerto.
Why is JiDion called DeMarcus Cousins?
It is a running bit. He told Complex in September 2022 that he is the third DeMarcus Cousins, claiming the NBA center as the first, and fans picked the name up. It is a joke. His real name is Jidon Adams.
Why is JiDion in trouble? Why do people say he is getting cancelled?
There is a long record. In January 2022 Twitch suspended him indefinitely for “harassing another person” after he sent his audience to Pokimane’s stream; he apologized, per Inverse, and Twitch reinstated him in May 2024, per Tubefilter. On September 6, 2022 security removed him from a US Open quarterfinal for getting a haircut in the stands (CBS Sports), and in July 2023 he was banned from NBA events after a sleeping prank at a WNBA game (NBC Sports). His stings draw criticism too: in March 2025 police in Albany, Oregon, said EDP Watch had not contacted them beforehand and that such stings can be dangerous and can compromise cases (Police1). Then came the June 2026 arrest above.
How old is JiDion?
He is 25. Famous Birthdays gives his birthday as December 12, 2000, so he turns 26 in December 2026.
What is JiDion’s real name? Where is he from?
Jidon Adams, per Famous Birthdays, and the Houston Chronicle and FOX 2 Detroit use the same name. He is from Houston, Texas, where he told Complex he grew up.
Where can I watch JiDion?
New videos go up on JiDionPremium and EDP Watch on YouTube. His main channel is @JiDion, which kept only 31 videos after the 2023 cleanup. He streams on Kick and is on Instagram as @jidion_.
What is JiDion’s net worth?
He does not publish a number and neither do we.
What about JiDion’s appearance, family or relationships?
Not something we cover.
Who represents JiDion?
No agency or manager is named on his channels or in the press we read. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because people keep searching what happened after his 2026 arrest, and most of the answer is on the record. If that changes, this entry will say so.
Our read
Ames Create does not work with JiDion. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.
The format. The prank years were built on one move: walk into a place with rules, a lecture hall, a tennis final, a courtside seat, and break one on camera. The sting videos keep the same engine, a confrontation filmed live with the outcome in doubt, and swap the target from strangers to men the video says came to meet a minor. Either way the tension of the confrontation is the product.
Why it travels. Every video comes with a headline built in, and the bigger stunts made news on their own, from CBS Sports to NBC Sports, which carried his name well past his subscribers. The sting format adds a reason to share that reads as public service to his audience, while police statements and his own arrests keep him in the news cycle.
Brand fit. Nobody right now. His recent work is sting content that police in Albany, Oregon, have publicly warned about, he was arrested on a livestream in June 2026, and he is banned from NBA events. The audience is large and loyal, but any brand next to this content inherits the subject matter and the legal risk with it.
