Comedy · Instagram · Updated Oct 23, 2026
Ellis Aych is a stand-up comedian and actor based in Austin, Texas, best known for a half-year run as a regular on Kill Tony in 2022, when host Tony Hinchcliffe brought him on as a pinch hitter for David Lucas. The show’s own episode notes list him on 11 episodes, from #542 (recorded January 17, 2022) to #564 (recorded June 12, 2022), and on none since. He still works Texas clubs, posts sets to his YouTube channel, and in the fall of 2024 co-hosted a 10-part comedy class podcast with Valerie Lopez of Comedy Wham. The name is the letter H spelled out: on the show he is introduced as Ellis H.

Questions people ask
Who is Ellis Aych?
Ellis Aych is an Austin, Texas stand-up comedian who also acts; his Linktree bio reads “Actor, comedian, overall badass.” In January 2022 Kill Tony made him a regular who filled in when David Lucas was away, and for the next five months he did a new minute on those weeks in a cast that included William Montgomery and Hans Kim, per the show’s episode notes. Since then he has worked the Texas club circuit: he reached the finale of the Funniest Comic in San Antonio Contest 2023, and he co-hosted a comedy class series on the Comedy Wham podcast in 2024.
What happened to Ellis Aych on Kill Tony? What happened to Ellis Aych?
As of October 2026, neither Ellis Aych nor Kill Tony has given a reason, in anything we could source, for why he stopped appearing on the show. What is public: Tony Hinchcliffe introduced him on #543 (recorded January 24, 2022) as a pinch hitter regular for weeks David Lucas is away, per the episode, and on #545 as a new regular who fills in for David Lucas. Kill Tony’s episode notes list him on 11 episodes, always on weeks that do not list Lucas, the last being #564, recorded June 12, 2022 and released July 4, 2022. On that night Tony called it a very good set and said he was getting more consistent, per the episode. Lucas is listed again from #566, and no numbered episode since has named Ellis. He has talked about it himself: the notes for Comedy Wham Presents #327, recorded June 2024 and released July 2024, list “falling in with and out of the Kill Tony ecosystem” as a topic, but they do not summarize what he said, so we do not guess.
Is Ellis Aych still on Kill Tony? Where is he now?
No, Ellis Aych is not on Kill Tony as of October 2026. Kill Tony’s episode notes have not listed him since #564 in June 2022, through the newest episode, #790 (recorded October 12, 2026). He is still doing stand-up in Texas: his YouTube channel has added sets labeled 2026, including one from Corpus Christi, and his TikTok bio still reads “Actor. Comedian. Overall badass.”
Did Ellis Aych get a golden ticket? How did he become a Kill Tony regular?
We could not find a golden ticket for Ellis Aych in the show’s notes or in the transcripts we read. What the show said on the record is that he was made a fill-in regular: on #543, Tony told the room he had been made a regular for weeks David Lucas was not there a few weeks earlier and that it was only his second time performing as one, and introduced him as being from Austin, Texas, per the episode. The notes first list him on #542, recorded January 17, 2022, and a podcast interview from that period, Canoecast Ep. 25, called him the newest regular on Kill Tony.
What movies has Ellis Aych been in?
We could not source a film credit for Ellis Aych as of October 2026, so we do not list one. What is public: he bills himself as an actor first, and a JP Podcast episode describes him as an Austin-based comic who started out as an actor. On Kill Tony #545 (recorded February 7, 2022) he told Tony he had two movies coming out, and on #563 (recorded June 6, 2022) he said he had booked a role in a movie shooting that August in Austin and Los Angeles. He did not name the titles in either episode.
How do you pronounce Ellis Aych? Is it Ellis H?
Yes, Ellis Aych is pronounced Ellis H. Aych is the letter H spelled out, and his Instagram display name reads “Ellis H (Ay-ch),” per Social Blade. Tony Hinchcliffe introduces him on air as Ellis H, and Kill Tony’s own notes spell it Ellis Aych, with a couple of typos (Eliis Aych, Ellis Arch) on some 2022 episodes.
How old is Ellis Aych? What is his real name?
Ellis Aych has not published a birthdate, so we do not print an age. He performs as Ellis Aych; what the H stands for has not been published by him or by press, so we leave it there.
Does Ellis Aych have a podcast?
Ellis Aych does not have a podcast of his own that we found as of October 2026, but in 2024 he co-hosted “CCPP (A 10-Part Comedy Class)” with Valerie Lopez on the Comedy Wham Presents feed, ten short episodes from Getting Started on September 4 to The Finale on November 6, covering open mics, writing, mentors, crowd work, self-promotion and getting paid. The series grew out of his July 2024 guest spot on Comedy Wham Presents #327.
Where can I watch Ellis Aych?
Ellis Aych’s Kill Tony minutes are in the archive from #542 to #564 (January to July 2022) on the show’s podcast feed and its YouTube channel. His own stand-up and sketches are on YouTube, Instagram @ellis_aych and TikTok @ellisaych. His interviews and the comedy class series are on the Comedy Wham Presents feed.
What is Ellis Aych’s net worth?
Ellis Aych does not publish a number and neither do we.
What about Ellis Aych’s personal life or dating?
Not something we cover.
Who represents Ellis Aych?
As of October 2026, Ellis Aych’s Linktree, TikTok and YouTube channel name no agent, manager or booking contact that we could find. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because people still ask what happened to the fill-in regular from Kill Tony’s 2022 run. If that changes, this entry will say so.
Our read
Ames Create does not work with Ellis Aych. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.
The format. A one-minute set followed by an interview on Kill Tony, where the interview mattered as much as the minute. Tony’s read on him in February 2022 was that he was unstoppable once the mic was in front of him and loose the rest of the time, and that loose energy was the act: talk-first, played to the room rather than built to the word.
Why it travels. Most of his reach came from Kill Tony itself, and fan channels still repackage those nights. His own accounts are small, about 3,100 Instagram followers and a few hundred on TikTok and YouTube, so new work mostly travels through clubs and local podcasts in Austin and San Antonio.
Brand fit. Local, for now. A Texas comedy club, bar or event that wants a host with Kill Tony history is a fair fit; a national brand would be paying for a following he does not have yet. His material is adult, so family brands should pass.
