Nikki Blackketter is a fitness and lifestyle creator based in San Diego, California, best known as one of Gymshark’s early athletes: Gymshark’s own blog says she had been with the brand for four years when the Nikki Blackketter by Gymshark collection launched around its first store, a New York pop-up that opened March 25, 2017. About four years before October 2026, per YouTube’s upload label, she posted a video whose title announces she was leaving Gymshark for a new direction, and she has not been presented as a Gymshark athlete since. As of October 2026 she still posts regularly on YouTube, where she has about 669,000 subscribers, now mostly home, workout and daily-life vlogs.

Questions people ask

Who is Nikki Blackketter?

Nikki Blackketter is a fitness and lifestyle YouTuber based in San Diego, California. Famous Birthdays describes her as a model and fitness guru who posts workout and modeling advice, and lists past ambassador roles with Gymshark and the supplement company Cellucor. Her YouTube channel, started in January 2014, has about 669,000 subscribers, more than 730 videos and more than 123 million views; its About page lists glute and leg workouts as her specialty, alongside vlogs with friends, family and her cat. She was one of the first creators to get her own Gymshark collection, in 2017.

Is Nikki Blackketter still with Gymshark?

No, Nikki Blackketter is no longer with Gymshark as of October 2026. She is not a Gymshark athlete, by her own account: about four years before October 2026 she posted a video titled “WHAT I’VE BEEN WORKING ON, new chapters, leaving Gymshark, blazing boldly in new direction, WOO,” which YouTube lists as four years old as of October 23, 2026 and which has about 58,000 views. A gymwear declutter video from the same period sorts her old Gymshark pieces into keeps and throwaways and shows her favorite new brands. Gymshark still hosts its 2017 collection article about her.

Why did Nikki Blackketter leave Gymshark? What happened?

The only account on the record of why Nikki Blackketter left Gymshark is her own video, which frames the exit as a new chapter and a new direction, and its description promotes a collab of her own with the brand platform Fy rather than Gymshark. We found no report in major or trade press on why the partnership ended, and no statement from Gymshark, so we do not guess at the reason or the terms. What is public is the length of the run: Gymshark’s blog put her at four years with the brand in 2017.

What was Nikki Blackketter by Gymshark?

Nikki Blackketter by Gymshark was her own women’s training line with Gymshark. Gymshark’s article lists a Cross Back Sports Bra, Dynamic Leggings, a Surface Hoodie and a Studio Jumper with a recurring mesh detail, built around the idea of clothing that shows off a body’s feminine features. The launch ran alongside the first Gymshark store, a New York pop-up that opened at 10am on March 25, 2017, where the article says a long line of fans was waiting. Her channel also has a haul and try-on of the line from that year and a sneak peek of a second season about a year later.

What happened to Nikki Blackketter? Where is she now and what is she doing?

Nothing dramatic has happened to Nikki Blackketter that we could source as of October 2026: her content changed more than she did. She lives in San Diego, per her TikTok bio, and still uploads to YouTube every few weeks. Her 2026 videos are cozy lifestyle vlogs: house hunting, getting the keys in the summer and moving into a new house in early fall, an autumn vlog in September and, in early October 2026, a video reacting to her old videos. In a video posted about a year before October 2026, per YouTube’s upload label, she described being 35 and rebuilding her strength from scratch, so the workouts are still there, just next to books, cooking and home projects.

Nikki Blackketter is 36. Famous Birthdays lists her birthday as February 23, 1990, which matches a video of hers posted about a year before October 2026 that describes her as 35.

What is Nikki Blackketter’s real name?

Nikki Blackketter is the name she goes by on every platform, and she has not published another name that we could find, nor has major press printed one, so we do not list one.

Not something we cover.

Who represents Nikki Blackketter?

As of October 2026, Nikki Blackketter’s TikTok bio lists a business email on the domain of Komodo, an influencer marketing agency that also offers talent management; it does not name a manager. Ames Create does not represent her; we cover her because she was one of the creators who built Gymshark’s early audience, and people still ask whether she is with the brand. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Nikki Blackketter. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. Two eras on one channel. The first was gym content with a clear specialty, glutes and legs, wrapped in Gymshark gear at the moment that brand was being built on creators like her. The second is the slow lifestyle vlog: house, books, coffee, cat, workouts, told in a chatty, self-deprecating voice. The constant is that she films her actual week.

Why it travels. Her reach was built in the years when a Gymshark athlete’s Instagram was the fitness feed, which is why the Instagram audience is still about 1.3 million while new uploads draw a fraction of that. What spreads now is nostalgia and relatability: a reaction to her old videos, a 35-and-starting-over training series. Long-time followers come back for her, not for a trend.

Brand fit. Women’s activewear, supplements and wellness, plus home, cozy and book brands that fit the vlog format she runs now. She has done collabs before, from her own Gymshark line to a Fy collab with a discount code. A brand should expect a warm, low-key integration inside a day-in-the-life vlog, not a hard sell, and should size the deal to her current YouTube views rather than her peak follower count.
