Matt Scharff is a golf creator from Kansas and one of the three friends who started Good Good in 2020, with Garrett Clark and Stephen Castaneda. He had been posting golf videos on YouTube since 2016, and his channel bio covers the rest: he is the guy who made a hole-in-one on a par 4, twice, first in Texas in 2021 and again in Mexico in November 2023. Golf Channel announced him in October 2025 as co-host of Big Break x Good Good, a season that was filmed and then cancelled in August 2026 during the fallout from the Callaway ad. The format. Matt is the everyman in a group of very good golfers: a single-digit player filmed next to scratch players, which makes his good shots feel earned and his bad ones relatable. His own channel adds challenges, gear and trick shots around the same buddy-golf formula.
Why it travels. Nothing travels in golf like a hole-in-one on video, and a par 4 ace is rarer still. He has two, both caught on camera, and every repost of them carries the Good Good name with it.
Brand fit. Golf equipment, apparel and golf travel fit the content, and the Cabo ace is a resort ad that already happened. As of September 2026 the main question for any partner is Good Good, not Matt: several of the company’s partners stepped back after the August ad.
