Questions people ask

Who is Kyle Berkshire?

Kyle Berkshire is a professional long driver and golf YouTuber from Crofton, Maryland. He played college golf at the University of North Texas and the University of Central Florida, entered his first official long drive event in 2017, and won the World Long Drive Championship in September 2019, per Golf Digest. He won the Professional Long Drivers Association championship in 2020 and 2021, per the PLDA, and his third world title in Atlanta in October 2023, per GOLF.com. His YouTube channel has about 261,000 subscribers and more than 115 million views.

Why did Kyle Berkshire leave Good Good? Was he ever in Good Good?

We found no record that he was ever a member or partner of Good Good, the Texas golf creator group, either in its own lineup or in golf press, so there is no exit to explain. He has run his own YouTube channel since October 2013, and in September 2023 he launched a second channel, The Bombers Club, per GOLF.com. Where he does cross paths with the Good Good world is creator events: he finished tied for sixth at the PGA Tour’s Creator Classic at TPC Sawgrass on March 12, 2025, an event won by former Good Good member Grant Horvat, per the GolfMagic leaderboard.

Is Kyle Berkshire on the PGA Tour? Why not? Is he trying to go pro?

No. As of October 2026 he is not a PGA Tour member. The record explains how that happened: in late 2016, as a North Texas sophomore who had not cracked the starting lineup, his coach Brad Stracke told him he could be one of the best long drivers in the world, and he switched, per the Denton Record-Chronicle in 2021. GolfWRX reported in August 2022 that he had set aside the idea of earning a Tour card, and in October 2023 he told GOLF.com he would consider a sponsor’s exemption and had turned down a 2020 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am spot because his full game was rusty. That has shifted since: his YouTube bio now reads “Aspiring PGA Tour player,” and in 2026 he entered U.S. Open local qualifying at Country Club of York in Pennsylvania (video posted May 23, 2026). We found no report of him earning status on the PGA Tour or the Korn Ferry Tour.

Is Kyle Berkshire a pro golfer? Is he a PGA pro? Is he any good on the course?

He is a professional long driver, which is how his TikTok bio describes him, and he plays professional stroke play events now and then. He shot 76 in a one-round Minor League event in Florida in January 2022, his first pro tournament in six years, per GolfWRX, and in July 2026 he posted a video from the Mickelson National Invitational in Calgary, saying he struggled in the first two rounds and was proud of his last. GOLF.com put his handicap at plus two in October 2021. We found no record of him as a PGA of America club professional.

What happened to Kyle Berkshire?

In August 2026 he returned to Rochelle Ranch Golf Course in Rawlins, Wyoming, where he set the long drive record in 2023, and hit a drive of 588.1 yards, per Cowboy State Daily, which reported that the course measured it on the ground. Local station Bigfoot 99 called the drive unofficial on August 24, 2026, saying his team had not yet confirmed it and that he ran out of time to reach 600. On October 17, 2026 he posted The First Ever 600-Yard Drive Attempt (World Record) on his channel.

What is Kyle Berkshire’s longest drive? How fast is his swing speed?

His longest reported drive is the 588.1 yards reported by Cowboy State Daily in August 2026, which local radio called unofficial at the time. Before that, he hit about 579.6 yards at the same course in October 2023, a drive officials declared official, per GOLF.com. The same article reports a 241.7 mph ball speed indoors within the hour, and clubhead speed that generally runs above 145 mph. In competition, his longest drive was 492 yards as of 2019, per Golf Digest. On the course he swings driver at about 140 to 142 mph and often hits a 1-iron off the tee instead, carrying it around 300 yards, per GOLF.com in 2021.

How much does Kyle Berkshire make? What are his career earnings?

He has not published his earnings, and we found no reported career total. The figures on the record: he won $50,000 for his 2021 Professional Long Drivers Association championship in Mesquite, Nevada, from a $125,000 Open Division purse, per the PLDA (October 2021). After World Long Drive and the PLDA merged, the 2023 season carried a $1.1 million total purse across 12 events, per Golf Digest (January 2023); his share was not reported. His July 2026 video from the Mickelson National Invitational describes a purse of over $150,000 but does not say what he won. YouTube and sponsors are the rest of the picture; his October 2026 video credits six brand partners.

Is Kyle Berkshire still with Cobra?

His current videos do not list Cobra. In 2021 and 2022 press reported him playing Cobra clubs: a Cobra RadSpeed driver and a prototype 1-iron he developed with Cobra’s R&D team, per GOLF.com (October 2021), and a Cobra LTDx LS driver for a 236 mph ball speed, per GolfWRX (August 2022). The partners credited on his October 17, 2026 video are HTC VIVE Eagle, Callaway golf balls, Par4Success, Makefield Putters, Original Penguin and Monster Energy. Neither he nor Cobra has announced a split that we could source.

How old is Kyle Berkshire? How tall is he? What is his real name?

He is 29, born November 1, 1996, per Famous Birthdays. Cowboy State Daily reported his height as 6 feet 3 inches in August 2026. He competes as Kyle Berkshire, and no other name has been published.

Long drive attempts, matches against Tour pros and on-course challenges on YouTube @kyleberkshire3371, which has close to 900 videos; short clips on TikTok @kyle_berkshire, where he has about 553,000 followers, and Instagram @kyleberkshire. He also launched a second YouTube channel, The Bombers Club, in September 2023, per GOLF.com.

Is Kyle Berkshire married? What about his health or personal life?

He has not announced a marriage on his own channels, and we found none reported in major or golf press. Beyond that, not something we cover.

What is Kyle Berkshire’s net worth?

He does not publish a number and neither do we.

Who represents Kyle Berkshire?

His channels do not name a management company or agency that we could find. Ames Create does not represent him; we cover him because people keep asking why the longest hitter in golf is not on the PGA Tour, and most of the answer is on the record. If that changes, this entry will say so.

Our read

Ames Create does not work with Kyle Berkshire. This is our view, from a team that works on creator brands for a living.

The format. Two formats on one channel: record attempts, where the whole video builds to a single swing and a measuring tape, and on-course rounds against Tour pros or hard courses, where the question is whether a long driver can score. The second format gives the first one stakes, because every round tests the thing people doubt.

Why it travels. A number travels. “579 yards” and “588 yards” need no golf knowledge to understand, and the attempt videos come with a built-in ending. His TikTok, at about 553,000 followers, is roughly twice his YouTube audience, which fits a sport where the best moment is a few seconds of ball flight.

Brand fit. Equipment, golf balls, launch monitors, training aids and energy drinks are the natural fit, and his October 2026 video already credits six partners in that range. We found no controversy around him in major or golf press. A brand should know that long drive is a narrow sport, so the reach is golf fans and speed fans, not the general sports audience.
