A steep drop of 59%: your last 6 TikToks have a median of 6,450 views, against 15,600 for the 11 before.
Why are my views down?
First check whether they really are. Leave out posts under 48 hours old, then compare the median views of your last 6 posts with the median of the 12 before them. A recent median under about 80% of the earlier one, and below your usual low end, is a real drop. Anything closer is a normal swing. Then look at what changed: what you post, how often, and how long it runs. The checker above does all of it from your handle.

What makes it worth using
Measured against you
A drop is your recent posts against your own earlier ones, not against someone else’s account. That is why it works at any size.
It says when it is not a drop
A dip inside your usual swing is called a swing, and new posts are never counted before they have had two days.
Honest about shadowbans
It does not claim to see what only the platform can. It shows what the numbers show and where your platform tells you more.
Free, with no account
No sign-up, no email wall and no login to your socials.
How to check a views drop by hand
It is the same method the checker uses.
Set aside posts under 48 hours old. Their views are still climbing. Judging yesterday’s post against last month’s is the most common way a drop is imagined.
Take two medians. Line up the views on your last 6 posts and take the one in the middle. Do the same for the 12 posts before them. Leave pinned posts out of both.
Compare them with your usual swing. If the recent median is within about 20% of the earlier one, that is a normal swing. If it is lower and below the low end of your earlier posts (the quarter that did worst), it is a real drop.
Look at what changed. How often you posted, how long your posts ran, whether the people who saw them still liked and commented, and whether your recent posts are the same kind of post your best ones were.
What usually changes when views drop
In the numbers you can see, a drop almost always comes with one of these.
- You changed what you post. A page whose best posts are rankings that switches to routines is making a different promise to the same audience. This is the change the checker turns up most.
- You post less often, or took a break. Fewer posts means fewer chances for one to land. The checker shows your pace before and after, and how long since your last post.
- Your posts got longer or shorter. When your recent posts run twice the length of your earlier ones, length is the first thing to test.
- There has been no breakout lately. If your earlier stretch had a post at 2x your normal and your recent one has none, the drop can be a missing hit, not a weaker page.
- It is a few posts, not all of them. One or two misses pull a short stretch down. The checker says how many of your recent posts actually fell.
To see why one video in particular missed, the Video Analyzer reads it against your normal.
Am I shadowbanned?
No outside tool can see that, us included. Each platform shows restrictions to the account owner, inside the app. This is where, in the platforms’ own words.
- Instagram. Instagram says professional accounts can see in Account Status whether their content can be recommended to people who do not follow them. Instagram for Creators
- TikTok. TikTok says its Account Check shows whether any of your last 30 posts was removed or restricted from reaching the For You feed, and its Account status page lists video violations. TikTok Newsroom
- YouTube. YouTube says it tells you about a strike by email, and shows warnings and policy issues in the Studio dashboard and the Content tab. YouTube Help
What the checker adds is the other half: whether all your recent posts fell or only a few, and what changed in them. If one recent post still beat your old normal, that is worth knowing before you change anything.
What the checker cannot see
It answers a narrower question than your own analytics, and it is worth being plain about what it leaves out.
- Watch time and retention. How long people watched lives in your own analytics, behind your login. We never ask for it.
- Shares, saves and where views came from. Those are in your analytics too. The checker reads views, likes and comments where the platform shows them.
- Account status. It cannot see restrictions or strikes. Only the account owner can, inside the app. The section above says where.
- Why a platform showed a post to whom. No one outside the platform can see that. The checker sticks to what changed in your own posts and numbers.
Wondering whether the time you post is part of it? The Best Time to Post reads when your own posts did best.
Questions people ask
Why are my TikTok views so low all of a sudden?
First check whether they really dropped. Leave out posts under 48 hours old, then compare the median views of your last 6 TikToks with the 12 before them. If the recent median is lower and below the low end of your earlier posts, it is a real drop. Then look at what changed: what you post, how often, and how long your videos run. Type your handle at the top of this page and the checker does both.
Why are my TikTok views going down?
Compare your recent stretch with the one before, not with your best ever video. If your recent median has fallen, the usual difference is in the posts themselves: a different format, a longer runtime, or fewer posts. The checker lists each change it finds next to the numbers.
Why are my Reels not getting views anymore?
Check the trend across your Reels, not one Reel. If your last few Reels sit well under the ones before, compare what kind of Reel each one is and how long they run. Type your Instagram handle above and the checker reads your recent Reels against the earlier ones.
Why did my Instagram views drop suddenly?
A sudden drop is often a breakout leaving the window, or a run of new posts that are still collecting views. The checker sets aside anything under 48 hours old and uses medians, so one viral Reel does not decide it. If the drop is real, it shows what changed in your recent Reels.
Why are my YouTube Shorts views dropping?
Pick Shorts above and type your channel handle. The checker compares your recent Shorts with the ones before, by median views, and shows whether their length, your pace or the kind of Short changed.
Am I shadowbanned on TikTok?
No outside tool can see that, us included. TikTok shows it to you, in the app: TikTok says its Account Check shows whether any of your last 30 posts was removed or restricted from reaching the For You feed, and its Account status page lists video violations. What the checker can tell you is whether every recent post fell or only a few, and what changed in them.
How do I check if I am shadowbanned on Instagram?
Instagram shows it inside the app. Instagram says professional accounts can see in Account Status whether their content can be recommended to people who do not follow them. Outside tools cannot see it.
Is there a free shadowban checker?
Not one that can see a shadowban from your handle. Restrictions are shown to the account owner, inside the app, so any outside checker is reading the same public numbers we are. This page uses them honestly: it tells you whether your views really dropped and what changed, and points to where your platform shows restrictions.
What counts as a real drop?
Your recent median under about 80% of your earlier median, and below the low end of your earlier posts. Under half is a steep drop. Anything closer is a normal swing, and the checker says so plainly.
Why are posts under two days old left out?
Their views are still climbing. Counting them makes almost every account look like it is dropping. They show faint on the chart so you can see them.
Does posting less lower my views?
We cannot say how any platform weighs it. The checker shows whether your pace changed at the same time as your views, so you can test it: post at your old pace for two weeks and run the check again.
My views dropped after a viral video. Is that normal?
A breakout raises the bar in your head while your normal stays where it was. The checker uses medians, which one viral post barely moves, so it shows whether your usual post actually fell or only looks small next to the hit.
How many posts does it need?
At least 8 posts over two days old: 4 recent ones to compare with 4 before them. With fewer, it shows your numbers and says the read is early.
Do I need to log in or connect my account?
No. It reads what is already public. There is nothing to connect and we never ask for a password. It does not work on private accounts.
Is the Views Drop Checker free?
Yes, with no account. Each person gets a few checks a day, which keeps it free for everyone. To see what your hits have in common, the Page Audit reads your whole page.
